Na-intimidate man nang ma-appoint bilang Senate Spouses president, gagawin daw ni Heart Evangelista ang kanyang best sa pagtupad ng kanyang duty!

Ikinatuwa rin ni Heart ang muli nilang pagkikita ng Asuncion family, na nakilala niya noon sa GMA Public Affairs show na "Follow Your Heart."

00:00When I found out, it was very daunting for me.

00:06I didn't know what to do.

00:07I didn't give instructions or anything.

00:08It just happened out of the blue.

00:09I cried actually, but I love it so much.

00:15I will do so much.

00:17I will do everything I can because I was given a purpose.

00:21This for me is not really a job.

00:22This is something that is selfless and I will do everything I can to give back.

00:27Now that this has been presented to me, I would like to do more.

00:33It feels very wonderful that you have a bigger purpose to have all of the Senate Spouses

00:39together and to actually do something and really make a dent.

00:43I truly enjoy it.

00:45Whatever I have now, I will make sure that I do something whether you remember me or

00:49not.

00:50You met the Asuncion family again.

00:51Yes.

00:52I met them before in Follow Your Heart.

00:56Then shortly after that, I wanted to reconnect with them because there are some people you

01:03meet in your life that imprinted in your heart.

01:05That whole family imprinted in my heart and I never forgot them.

01:10But when we went to their house, their house was demolished when they were working.

01:14So it was a very unfortunate incident for them and I never got to see them again.

01:18At that time, when there was a typhoon, sometimes I look at my DMs and I saw Asuncion.

01:25I pressed him.

01:27So I said, where are you?

01:29He said, we are here in Marikina.

01:31Where are you going?

01:32And then we met.

01:33And then, you know, by faith, not faith, but with prayers, we saw each other again.

01:40They're such a loving family and I'm so happy to hear that he graduated, his brother graduated,

01:48his father and mother are still working, but now their family, they're thriving.

01:53And it's so, I'm so happy that I was able to reconnect with them.
