00:00All right, let's look at tonight's games. We'll start with Arizona and Cleveland. In Cleveland,
00:05640. Rodriguez against, don't call me, Blake Lively. Speaking of hot.
00:13Lively was really good on his first outing back off the I.L. there, Scott. I was pretty impressed
00:20with how he threw the ball, but we got the same type of situation. What are we going to get from
00:24Eduardo Rodriguez back for the first time? That's the big question, Mark.
00:30The Guardians have now lost, what, three in a row, which is very unlike them. It feels like
00:35this is a spot I want to back the Guardians, but the way these two teams are also hitting,
00:42eight seemed like a little bit of a low number, too, so I wouldn't mind an over in this one,
00:46either. I got to tell you, Arizona wins every night. Cincinnati and Miami tonight in South
00:52F.L.A. Lodolo against Meyer with a total of eight. You see the Reds at minus $1.50
01:01on the money line. On the run line, you know what to do.
01:05Yeah, no, I mean, let's all be realistic here. We told you earlier, De La Cruz, over one and a
01:11half bases, over a half is steel, and you can thank me in the morning. The Reds, once again,
01:16will come to play against Miami, and I believe Miami, Scotty, is the Major League worst team
01:22against left-handed pitching, so I think we're good here backing the Reds.
01:28San Diego and Pittsburgh, Dylan Cease against Falter at PNC at $6.40,
01:34and, you know, I'm seeing Pittsburgh as a $1.50 dog.
01:41Am I, I mean, why is nobody talking about Dylan Cease for a shot, Yung? The guy is absolutely
01:48balling here, Scotty, and everyone bet against him after he threw the no-hitter, saying, oh,
01:53it never works out afterwards. Yeah, well, he was lights out the next start, too, so the Padres,
02:01to me, with Dylan Cease are, he is an ace, a legit ace, but the Pirates are going to need
02:09Bailey Falter to show up here tonight to keep him in this game, so I do like the under in this one
02:15here, Scotty. I think runs will be hard to come by. The Giants are on fire right now. Birdsong
02:22at DC against Gore in our nation's capital, and San Francisco minus about $20. Washington
02:29at even money. The total is $9, Joe. Love the Giants in this one. Mackenzie Gore going the
02:36wrong way. He's getting crushed every time he throws. He's running out of gas. I love Birdsong.
02:42I think this is a kid that's got a bright future, so I got the Giants with the advantage in the
02:47starting pitching and the bullpen. I'll go with the Giants here tonight. Rodriguez for the Orioles,
02:54Basset Hound for the Jays in Toronto tonight. Rodriguez 13 and four with a 380RA. Baltimore's
02:59minus a buck and a half. Toronto plus a buck 26, and the total is eight and a half.
03:06Oh my goodness. I can't think of anything I trust less than Toronto in any way, shape, or form. I'm
03:12also going with the over in this one. Baltimore has scored six or more runs in six of their last
03:18nine games. I don't think that changes here tonight against Toronto and Basset. I'm going
03:24with the over. All right. Milwaukee and Atlanta in Hot Town. Rea is pitching for the Brewers at
03:31nine and three against the Elder Statesmen, who's two and four. Milwaukee's plus a buck 15,
03:38Dawgs, and the total is nine. Yeah, hot, I mean hot, humid Atlanta night here tonight,
03:47Scotty. It would not shock me. I think both of these pitchers can be gotten, so I'm looking at
03:53team totals to go over in this one here, Scotty, both for Milwaukee and for Atlanta. Tampa and
04:00St. Louis at Bush. You've got Springs against Sonny Gray. Gray 10 and six with a 370RA.
04:08St. Louis is minus a buck 55, and seven and a half is the total.
04:13Yeah, Sonny Gray has kind of been going the wrong way here since just before the All-Star
04:19break and just after. He seems to be running out of steam. Remember how good Springs was,
04:24Scotty, before he blew his arm out? This guy was a Cy Young candidate for Tampa. He was
04:30unbelievable. Just came off the IEL. He's kind of working his way back. It feels like a good spot
04:36for an under with the way the Cardinals, and what a schedule for the Cardinals, by the way. They've
04:41had to go all over the place in the last three days, and now they're in Tampa. I think the under
04:46is a good look here. All right, so I guess they're going with Tyler Maley for Texas against
04:54Valdez and Houston at Globe tonight. Right now, Houston minus a buck 28 and a half is the total.
05:03Yeah, boy, oh boy. This feels like, can Texas keep it going? By the way, I think two and
05:10six now is what Houston is in their last eight games after being red hot, so they kind of
05:16hit a brick wall. They're starting to come back here a little bit. I think you'll agree with me.
05:22Texas needs this win. Texas needs to put its foot down and impose themselves here.
05:27I think they can get to. I definitely think they can get to Framber there, and this is, I think,
05:34Tyler Maley is making his Rangers debut, Scotty. Fifteen months he's been gone. He hasn't pitched
05:39in 15 months, so who knows what we're going to get from him. Feels like an over, though.
05:46Let's go to the Twins and Cubs at Wrigley. Lopez and Imanaga, and I'm seeing a pick-em right now
05:54both ways. Lopez is 10-7, Imanaga 8-2. They've both been brilliant. I'm seeing it as a pick-em.
06:03I like Imanaga over four and a half strikeouts in this one, Scotty, and I would, I like the Twins
06:10to win, and I'll tell you why. This is now the second back-to-back start in which Imanaga has
06:16got four days of rest. They're pitching him on the every fourth day. That's not, that doesn't
06:23work in Japan where he came from, Scotty. They don't work that often, that many innings, and
06:29that quickly, so it wouldn't shock me if he leaves a few balls over the middle of the plate here,
06:34and these hitters are able to get it, so I like Pablo. I like the better team, which is the Twins.
06:42Wow, so, and you're thinking some home runs, too. Maybe Lewis will hit one tonight.
06:47Boston and Kansas City, a really good one. Bayo and Lugo at the K. This is a great game. I,
06:53you know, Lugo's been unbelievable 13-5, but Bayo's 10-5, and he's been just as impressive.
07:01Kansas City's minus 130, the favorite. Boston plus 110. Eight and a half is the total.
07:09Seth Lugo has been lights out at home, Scotty. He's got a 2.80 ERA, and I think he will certainly
07:17keep the Boston hitters off, off balance a little bit. I mean, they crushed Singer last night,
07:24and then the game got away from the Royals. I think this is a little less scoring early
07:29on with these two pitchers. I do like Kansas City in the first five. I think they can get
07:34the bell quicker than what Boston's going to be able to get to Lugo. How about Vinny P with a
07:41long ball tonight to ring the bell past Quintino from the left side against Bayo. All right,
07:48let's go to the next game. Mets and Colorado at Coors. Severino against Freeland. Seve's been
07:56great. He's minus about 50, favored. The total's 11 and a half in the thin air.
08:04Oh, my goodness. Isn't this the spot where we're supposed to take the run and a half with the home
08:09team, who has a pitcher on the mound in Kyle Freeland, who, Scotty, I can't understand it.
08:15I can't explain it, but Kyle Freeland is a better pitcher at Coors than he is on the road.
08:20So, I don't get it, but it wouldn't shock me if the Mets win this game but have to do it in
08:26epic come from behind fashion. I'll take the run and a half with Colorado.
08:31All right, the White Sox and A's at the ashtray, stripling for the A's. He's miserable,
08:382 and 10, but so is Cannon for the Sox, 1 and 5. They've lost 21 games in a row. Oakland,
08:46minus 227, 8 and a half is the total.
08:53And, Scotty, we ain't catching the fallen knife in any way, shape, or form with the White Sox. So,
08:58let's go A's. Come on. Let's get it done on the run line. Come on.
09:03Yeah, on the run line.
09:17So,
09:34recently, I feel like I'm not doing anything wrong. I'm not making bad swings. I don't feel
09:39like I'm making terrible decisions and just had got a little bit of a streak of bad luck on par 5s.
09:45Didn't birdie any of them at the Open. Didn't birdie any of them today. It's just, you know,
09:49I didn't feel like I did anything terribly wrong, right? But that's just golf. It happens.
09:54What's done is done and this week is the most important week of the year right now.
10:01He lands it pin high. He's going to be off over the
10:05pin position, leave himself a tough putt there. That should bite now.
10:10He didn't like it by the looks of it, but he'll love it when he sees it.
10:14Just get this before that bunker. Put himself in a good position.
10:20Just a tiny little baby fade. Ideally placed to tie the lead at 16.
10:27He's playing well this week, John Rahm.
10:35An OMG what a championship Sunday we just witnessed.
10:48Win, right? So, obviously, you always want to get that done, but you don't want to see
10:52a teammate and a good friend, you know, missing a putt for that happen for me.
10:58The Live Golf League delivers every single event, doesn't it? I mean,
11:02what an incredible finish there. You know what, Tyrell, I feel for him. He's been playing beautiful
11:07golf. In fact, since Miami, he's been the best player in our league based on the strokes game
11:10metric. I'm really happy that I had my first Live Golf win. Now that Kelly and the kids are
11:16watching, just knowing that I'm bringing the trophy home for that, it feels good to say that
11:19it's coming home. The brighter the lights, the bigger the stakes. Hunt or be hunted.
11:38Know your prey. This is a whole new jungle. This is the lion's share.
11:51Brought to you by Bet MGM. And how about their great promotion, the swing for the fence is free
11:57to play game. You can play it once a day, play as the batter, pick an area in the strike zone,
12:01get a single, double, triple, homer, fly out, and you can win great prizes. You got to be a
12:08Bet MGM sportsbook account holder to get in on it, though, to win the rewards. And those types
12:13of rewards are probably boost tokens, odds, boost tokens, single game, probably boost tokens, bonus
12:18spins and eligible casino states and bonus bets. Even all rewards expire within 24 hours. Carver
12:25wins every day and uses the boost tokens to put it with the golf. And then he makes even more money
12:32cashing tickets. We continue with the last two games tonight in baseball with Joe Ranieri,
12:38Detroit and Seattle in the Pacific Northwest, Montero for Detroit. He's awful against Castillo,
12:46which you would think this would be a Seattle night. They're minus two Oh five, seven and a
12:52half the total. Yeah. And the only way I would look, I wouldn't mind laying it the one and a
13:00half here, Scotty, with Seattle. I think Castillo, we know he's been very, very good at home.
13:05It's not exactly a great hitter's ballpark. Detroit without Riley Green is ineffective.
13:11They're not going to score a lot of runs. I think Seattle can win this game by margin.
13:16It feels like a five one kind of game. And I think that's the way I'd look at it.
13:20And then Philly and the Dodgers, the last one in Chavez Ravine tonight, Sanchez against Clayton
13:27Kershaw. Of course, Kershaw has not looked good. Sanchez is seven and seven. The Dodgers and
13:34Phillies are a pick them at this point at minus one, 10, each eight and a half is the total.
13:40Yeah. A couple of different ways to look at this one. I don't hate an
13:45overlook. I think the bats can actually get going on both sides here, Scotty. I think
13:50Philadelphia can definitely get the Clayton Kershaw and Christopher Sanchez, by the way,
13:55has been hit much harder lately. And he's also night and day from pitching at home at Citizens
14:02Bank and on the road. So the over eight and a half seems like a pretty decent number to me.
14:08I'd like to go over with Freddie Freeman back in it.
