00:13Secretary Roque said that the President's first priority is the digitalization of the sector of business and trade in the country.

00:22This is the fastest way to sell products and services in this time.

00:28This proves the rise in the number of online sellers during the pandemic.

00:34Second, the President also wants the DTI to encourage businessmen,

00:39particularly micro, small, and medium enterprises, to diversify.

00:44This means that it should not only depend on one product that is being sold, but on others.

00:50Also included in the President's message to Secretary Roque is the access to funding of MSMEs and franchising.

00:58Above all, the Secretary-General said that MSMEs should be included in mentoring or teaching them business aspects

01:07so that they can earn more.

01:10Acting Secretary Roque admitted that MSMEs play a big role in improving the economy of the country,

01:17especially since 99.5% of the business sector is made up of MSMEs.
