00:00I'm curious when you look into the numbers that you talked about earlier with Dan B. Swanson and
00:06Cody Bellinger, are you worried about a bounce-back not happening? For Swanson more than
00:14Bellinger, Bellinger has bounced back before. Well you got 55 million dollars riding on next
00:20year for those, right, those are the contracts 25 and 30. Do you think there's a possibility
00:29that if Bellinger gets hot and knowing his agent is Scott Boris that he opts out of that
00:35contract for next year and looks to be one again one of the premier free agents left-handed hitters
00:43still 29 that he can monetize what's left of the season and make people believe he's worth a four
00:53year hundred million dollar contract somewhere that is the poker game that they have to play
01:00so so looking at that I mean you have you have these two guys that are still very important
01:06to you going into next year likely Bellinger will stay and there's still you still have to find out
01:14where they best help you win right now with all due respect you have you have a lot of guys that
01:24are number six hitters in good lineups on the Chicago Cubs okay I would say the majority of
01:30the guys are good six hitters in a in a good lineup in major league baseball you need some
01:38threes and fours you need you need a couple and will Bellinger be that will Swanson come back to
01:43being a good number five we don't know we don't know how that's going to shake out all we can say
01:49is that if Tom Ricketts lets Jed Hoyer presumably Jed Hoyer spend more money next year go way over
02:00the cap you know maybe maybe they're they're going to be able to buy somebody out there but
02:06I hear the number one priority for the Cubs is going to be Corbin Burns of the Baltimore Orioles
