Transcript
00:00All right, Brian brought us I got some I got some Oxnard awards for you since your last
00:19day out there.
00:20Sure.
00:21All right.
00:22Just in a vacuum.
00:23The best overall player you saw out at training camp this year.
00:27I think there were there were three in and I'm sorry, I don't I just got it.
00:32I got to do some you can rank them whatever or you want.
00:35Tyler Smith was by far one of the best players I saw in that you talk about every single
00:40day lining up and doing something that you go.
00:43Okay, I see why this guy's kind of a pro ball pro type of a player.
00:47Micah Parsons rec shop every day.
00:49It didn't matter if it was his own team or the Rams team.
00:52They couldn't block him when it came to that kind of stuff.
00:55And then Dak throwing the football having to deal with deal with Mike Zimmer and what
01:01they were doing in the, you know, kind of putting this this defense in the disguises
01:06it they challenged him in this camp.
01:08They really did.
01:09And I thought he was consistent throughout throwing the ball, you know, whether it was
01:14down in the red zone in the in the field wherever he had to throw the ball, you know, and I
01:18thought the decision making is things were good.
01:20So I'd say Tyler Smith, Micah Parsons and Dak would be the three guys that I would point
01:25out there.
01:26What addition to Micah's game?
01:28Did you notice him add that stood out in the practices if any, he looks actually slimmer.
01:35And I mean, slimmer in a way he's still a good looking player.
01:39He doesn't look as bulky as he was.
01:42And I think it's helping him, you know, he he's had explosiveness, he's got quickness.
01:48He just now can take his body and turn it sideways and still get up the field he can.
01:54He has found ways to attack these blockers by getting small.
01:59And I mean getting small where they can't get hands on him.
02:01If you watch the really good pass rushers in the National Football League, they will
02:05never let an offensive tackle or a blocker get their hands on him.
02:10They will find a way to contort, move, get small, turn.
02:14Micah's Micah's getting this down now where it's like, okay, when you put your hands up
02:19on him, he's not going to let one of these not one of those hands is not going to hit
02:23him.
02:25I mean, maybe you'll get him with the one, but you're not going to get him with the second
02:27one.
02:28And I think that's what he's done a really good job of figuring out how to break people
02:31down.
02:32And when you can break people down, you can you can pass rush.
