00:00Both the Police Regional Office 11 or PRO11 and the Kingdom of Jesus Christ or KOJC aired

00:07their respective assertions and allegations during the joint Senate hearing in Davao.

00:12On the part of the police authorities defended the legitimacy of their activities inside

00:17the KOJC compound while the religious group resented all their complaints and demands

00:22against the ongoing law enforcement operation.

00:25Benji Durango has the details.

00:29The KOJC group grilled the PNP PRO11 for five hours during the public hearing held in Davao

00:35City.

00:36Their resentment was evident in their presentation.

00:37They don't want to let us pass, they are crying, please help us, they don't let us pass, they

00:45are attacking Brother Lito, our engineer, they harassed him, they beat him up, they

00:49beat him up.

00:50Sir, we cannot pass.

00:52That's why I said, people are attacking us.

01:31Mr. Osmundo Calano, my aide, sir, is the one I tasked to actually request the PNP ambulance

01:38to come inside.

01:39It's not their ambulance outside, sir.

01:41There's no ambulance na hinarang, na gaya na sinasabi nila.

01:45Alangan naman, sir, na ang kanilang ambulansya na sa labas.

01:49We planned for this operation thoroughly, sir, including casualty mitigation.

01:57The KOJC presented a large number of photos and videos seeking to implicate the general.

02:02The police activities inside, the restrictions on KOJC, digging within the compound, the

02:07items brought in and trash taken out, all of which the KOJC earlier.

02:11But halfway through the hearing, the PNP also presented their own evidence from their Operation

02:16Tecnon Alpha which began on August 24.

02:33From the first day, they were bombarded with curses, belted with stones, and blasted with

02:37fire extinguisher sprays from KOJC members.

02:40That video clearly shows the hindrances that we face.

02:46By the 14th day of Operation Tecnon Alpha, their activities inside KOJC remained limited.

02:51To expedite the process, the police used technology.

02:54Three life-in-motion detectors, a bore scope, and four ground-penetrating radars were borrowed

02:59from MMDA, BFP, DNR, and some private individuals, including former churchmate of Kibuloy before

03:07KOJC.

03:08Due to the indicators the police detected, on the sixth day, they started digging.

03:12They detected movement and breathing six meters below the basement of the JMC building.

03:17The purpose of the digging is to locate the suspected tunnel or bunker where the fugitives

03:22are hiding.

03:23Aside from the digging, PNP Pro 11 also attempted to scar the entire KOJC compound while being

03:29closely watched by KOJC members.

03:32In the video shown by TORE, KOJC members can be seen frisking female police officers.

03:37And if only they were given the freedom to search inside and underneath KOJC, they could

03:57uncover what they are hearing beneath the concrete they are monitoring.

04:19they want is for the operation in KOJC to end, contrary to what the police want.
