00:00The presentation of the proposed budget of the PCO for next year cleared the Senate committee level hearing
00:06since any snag or resistance. PCO head Honcho Cesar Chavez justified the proposed number for next year's
00:14allocation and the Senate panel nodded and had no objections. Our Daniel Manalistas has more details
00:22on this afternoon's PCO budget presentation at the Senate committee level.
00:30The proposed 2025 budget of the Presidential Communications Office and its attached agencies
00:35passed the Senate committee level earlier today. PCO Acting Secretary Cesar Chavez attended the
00:42budget briefing along with other heads of the PCO including People's Television Network
00:47Incorporated General Manager Toby Nebrida. Acting Secretary Chavez presented the PCO's
00:53projects and programs like project for freedom of information, different workshops, trainings,
00:59and more.
01:11During the budget discussion, several PCO programs such as Usapang Agrikultura and Kapihan sa Bagong
01:17Pilipinas were also on the agenda. On air, online, in sustainable speed and sustainable focus so that
01:25five to six in the morning in all radio stations of Radyo Pilipinas about 28 of them will feature
01:34issues content on agriculture so that it's not only about migas palay it's something to do with
01:40livestock entrepreneurship that's every day po. Usapang Agrikultura sa 28 na stasyon depende
01:48siyempre sa sitwasyon doon at sa needs nila. Exactly. That's a good project. Chavez noted that
01:54radio stations also used to produce digital content. We also feature ma'am uh success stories
