The Daily Life of the Immortal King S01E02

In this episode, Wang Ling continues his attempts to live an unremarkable high school life despite his immeasurable power. We follow him as he starts his first day at the elite Cultivation School, which is designed to train students with magical abilities.

The episode further introduces us to Sun Rong, who becomes a prominent character in Wang Ling’s life. She is strong-willed, intelligent, and comes from a wealthy, influential family. While she’s unaware of Wang Ling’s true abilities, she is curious about his aloofness and awkward demeanor.

The highlight of the episode comes when a challenge arises during their training session, with a sudden, dangerous spirit beast attacking the students. Once again, Wang Ling is forced to intervene and eliminate the threat with ease, though he tries to hide his involvement by allowing others to take credit for the victory.

This episode builds on the comedic tension between Wang Ling’s desire to remain unnoticed and his natural, overwhelming power, while further developing his relationship with Sun Rong and the other students. It also hints at larger threats looming on the horizon, setting up future conflicts in the series.
