00:00When due to the sudden increase in the contribution of the Social Security System's Pension Booster Program,

00:05the agency expects that the net income of the SSS will reach almost Php 140 billion more than the initial target this year.

00:14This is Rod Laguzad for Detaily.

00:19It is expected to reach Php 2 to 3 billion more in addition to the contribution of the Social Security System this year.

00:28According to SSS President and CEO, Rolando Makasait, this is because the SSS expects to reach Php 4 million more.

00:35In addition to the contribution, the high contribution of the Workers' Investment and Savings Program, or WISP,

00:41which is under the rebranding and is now called Pension Booster, is easier for the public to understand.

00:58As I understand it, the deposits for WISP or the Pension Booster was only about Php 40 million a month.

01:04I think we're hitting over Php 100 million a month already.

01:08The expansion of the SSS will continue with its members,

01:12including the joining of barangay officials who are not members of the GSIS,

01:17and even the job order and contract of service of the local government workers.

01:22According to Labor Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma,

01:25it is important for the SSS to reach more Filipinos.

01:29The SSS is a mechanism for social protection.

01:33For those who need it, they should reach as much as possible the areas that need this kind of service.

01:42At the same time, the SSS expects to reach Php 140 billion as its net income this year.

01:49This is higher than the previous target of Php 100 billion.

01:53Based on the data of the SSS, as of July, the net income of the SSS is already Php 56 billion.

01:59This is a large part of the contributions of the members and the investments of the SSS.

02:04And to do this, the SSS moved its branches to different parts of the country,

02:09to malls where there is no single land.

02:11Meanwhile, at the same time as the SSS celebrates its 67th anniversary,

02:16the SSS launched its enhanced logo and redesigned website,

02:21which is user-friendly and has a dedicated page for OFWs.

02:25While the SSS celebrates its members when it comes to the programs of the agency,

02:30PTV is already included,

02:32which is known as the best media partner of the broadcast national category in the Bayan Awards.

02:37This is due to the contribution of the network in providing important information to the members,

02:42pensioners, and other stakeholders when it comes to the programs of the agency.

02:46PTV General Manager Toby Nebrida and PTV Anchor Dayan Querer personally accepted the introduction.

03:04This is part of our mandate to help all the agencies of our government.

03:11This includes the SSS.

03:14According to Nebrida, the support of the network will continue for the programs of the SSS.
