01:20On the second day of filing certificates of candidacy, or COC, at the Manila Hotel
01:24Tenth City, only 21 individuals submitted their candidacies, consisting of 10 aspiring
01:30senators and 11 quarterlist candidates.
01:33This number is lower compared to the 32 who filed their COCs yesterday.
01:37Some of the well-known personalities who filed this morning include re-electionist Aimee
01:41Marcos, who stated that she still has the support of her brother, President Ferdinand
01:45R. Marcos Jr., despite choosing not to join the administration's senatorial slate.
02:15Included in Senator Aimee's platform are continued support for farmers, people with
02:21disabilities, and senior citizens.
02:24This was followed by the filing of administration senatorial candidates Tito Soto and King Rafson,
02:29whose platform focuses on government rightsizing, fighting fake news, and supporting the current
02:33programs and advocacies of the Marcos administration.
02:56Re-electionist Tito Lapid also filed his candidacy, with a focus on strengthening
03:21agritourism in the country.

03:43as the Vendors Party List led by Deyo Balbuena, who gained fame on social media as Diwata
03:48Pares, and the A Teachers Party List.
03:51There were also a few independent aspiring senators who filed their candidacies.
03:55Meanwhile, the Comlec stated that it will only declare a gun ban during the actual election
04:00period as it also needs to consider other sectors.
04:14According to the discussions in the NBANC session, the Comlec announced that they have
04:18allowed voters from 10 barangays in Embotagig to participate in the elections.
