00:00A 35-year-old man has been named after he was charged with shoplifting from a Preston shopping
00:04centre. Callum Fitzpatrick, 35, of St Michael's Road, Preston, was arrested after gift sets were
00:11stolen from Matalan in St George's shopping centre at around 1pm on Friday. Police in Blackpool have
00:18confirmed they were involved in the pursuit of a car which began just after 1am on Saturday
00:23and ended when the driver was detained on Bloomingfield Road at 1.24am.
00:28Kyle Hendry, 27, of St Anne's Road, Blackpool, has now been charged with
00:32driving with excess alcohol, dangerous driving and failing to stop.

00:43for the Great British Businesswoman Awards 2025. Sarah Hussain, the founder of female-led
00:49architectural practice Haddoncore, is among 800 entries submitted nationally.
00:55A Wigan mechanic has admitted to issuing dozens of MOT certificates to vehicle owners without
01:01actually carrying out any work. Stuart Banks, 32, of Concord Avenue, Auckland Hall,
01:06faced a total of 30 charges under the 2006 Fraud Act. Banks was released on an unconditional bail
01:14until a Bolton Crown Court judge sentences him on October 18th.
01:18The potential investors attended a special event on Thursday to find out more about the
01:26opportunities available for the development of Morecambe's Frontierland site. One of Lancaster
01:33City Council's long-term ambitions is to appoint a preferred partner to develop the former funfair
01:38site, with the focus on a leisure and hospitality-led mixed-use development.
