00:45They're very aesthetic, they have good materials, and they are very, very ergonomic.
00:50As for the processor, we have the Snapdragon 845, which was the best processor you could
00:55put on an Android phone five years ago, and therefore, of course, it is an absolute killing
01:01machine in whatever task you throw at it.
01:05Applications work super well, stable and fast, the system moves fluidly and without any irregularities
01:11or performance drops, and you can play all the games you want, although maybe not at
01:15maximum settings because let's remember, this processor is over four years old.
01:21Overall, I think you're going to be very happy.
01:24It has a very decent performance and because it's been around for a couple of years, it
01:29is also very well optimized, so it won't be one of those glitchy and unpredictable Android
01:34phones we unfortunately see very often.
01:38But hey, let's move on to another very good feature and quite acclaimed on the S9, which
01:44is the battery life.
01:45But first, something that's even more important than the battery life on the S9 is the price.

02:44display because my friends, it has an OLED panel with 1100 nits of brightness and the
02:51highest end panel available at the time, which are specs well ahead of their time.
02:57Remember, this phone came out in 2018 and it had 1100 nits of brightness on an OLED
03:03panel that was over 1080p.
03:07That is absolutely insane.
03:08And let me emphasize on the panel quality because a lot of people, when they buy phones,
03:13they focus on the resolution, on the size, which sure are very important factors, but
03:18the most important feature on a display is definitely the panel quality.
03:23That affects the viewing angle, the colors, the contrast, the calibration.
03:28You want a very good panel on your phone and that's what top tier Samsung phones and top
03:33tier iPhones have that most of the other phones don't have even nowadays.
03:38If you buy a cheap Xiaomi, sure, it's going to have impressive specs on paper, but it
03:42will have a worse panel quality than the Galaxy S9 from 2019.
03:47But anyways, that being said, let's move on to the most important part of this review,
03:52which is the camera review.
03:54As you can see, I'm recording right now with the rear camera, the main sensor at 4K 30
03:59FPS, and I'm fairly impressed with the results.
04:02It looks very sharp.
04:04There's very decent dynamic range and there's, well, not as much depth as you would find
04:09on modern cameras because it is a small sensor.
04:12But anyways, let's check the pictures.

07:43That is at least my personal preference, because it feels a lot better.

07:52features like high refresh rate or fast charging, all those things that most modern phones have,
08:00but where it matters, it is way better than those other phones.
08:04So I would get an S9 if I had that budget, and that's what I think you should do too.
