00:00Yes, my friends, today I'm going to re-review the Samsung Galaxy S10, from its exterior
00:08design to the processor, going through all of its cameras, to find out if after 4 years
00:13and 3 months, this phone is still worth it.
00:18As always, let's begin by talking about the exterior design, which, as you can see, is
00:22one of the strong points on this phone, and well, in general, of all Galaxy S phones.
00:28They are made out of aluminum and glass, with a simple but elegant design, and an unbeatable
00:34feeling in your hands.
00:35If you've ever tried one of the latest Galaxy S phones, you know what I'm talking about.
00:39They're very aesthetic, they have very good materials, and above all, they are very ergonomical.
00:45As for the processor, we have a Snapdragon 855, which was the best processor you could
00:51put on an Android phone 4 years ago, and therefore, of course, it is an absolute killing machine
00:56in whatever task you throw at it.
00:58Applications work super well, stable and fast, the system moves fluidly without any irregularities
01:04or performance drops, and you can play pretty much all the games you want, although, maybe
01:09not at maximum settings, because, let's remember, this processor is over 4 years old.
01:14Overall, I think you're going to be very happy with it.
01:18It has a very decent performance, and because it has been around for a couple years, it
01:22is very well optimized.
01:24But hey, let's move on to another very good feature, and quite acclaimed on the S10, which
01:30is the battery.
01:31You're going to get about 8 hours of continuous use of screen-on time, which is more than
01:37enough for most people.
01:38I don't know anybody that uses their phone for over 8 hours a day, so I think the world
01:44averages like 5-6 hours of screen-on time, so you're going to get more than enough.
01:49You're always going to get till the end of the day, not just now when you buy it, but
01:53in 2-3 years, when the battery doesn't have 100% capacity, you'll still have an entire
01:58day of usage if you're a normal person.
02:01If you're a crazy user that uses their phone for 10 hours a day, well, maybe you have to
02:05go buy the best battery life phone in existence, but for average people, it's great, it's incredible.
02:11And we move on to the screen, to the display, another very good component on the S23.
02:18It has an OLED panel with 1200 nits of brightness, and obviously the highest-end panel available
02:25at the time it came out, which are specs that are very well ahead of their time.
02:30Remember, this phone came out in 2020, and at the time, 1200 nits of brightness was absolutely
02:37insane.
02:38And by the way, let me emphasize on the panel quality.
02:41This is something most people don't pay attention to, they focus on the resolution, they focus
02:45on the brightness, they focus on whether it has 120 Hz or not, but to me, I think the
02:52most valuable thing a display on a phone can have is the panel quality.
02:58That's why the S23 looks so sharp, not because of the resolution, but because of the panel,
03:03the calibration, the viewing angles, that's what makes a phone look good.
03:09Even then, this phone is 1440p, which is beyond 1080p, unnecessarily high resolution.
03:16It has a 60 Hz panel, I think it is the last 60 Hz panel on a top-tier Samsung phone.
03:22Kind of a shame, but it is also very, very cheap.
03:25And of course, the most important piece, the most important component on this phone, the
03:30cameras.
03:31You're actually seeing me right now with the main camera recording at 4K60, but it has
03:35three on the back.
03:36It has a 12-megapixel main sensor, it has a 12-megapixel zoom sensor, and it has a 16-megapixel
03:43ultra-wide lens.
03:44And of course, like in every video, while I show you the quality of this 4K main camera,
03:49let me tell you that this phone right now has a very, very, very juicy price on Amazon.
03:55I'm going to leave a direct link in the description to Amazon, so if at the end of the video you
03:59decide to buy it, you can check it there.
04:01Although, well, I think Amazon right now is the only place where you can buy it, because
04:04Samsung is not selling it officially anymore, and because it has a specially low price.
04:09It's always had a very low price on Amazon, but right now it's even cheaper, so check
04:13it out.
04:14And well, that being said, you've already seen the video quality, it's time for you
04:17to see the pictures.
04:18Like in every video, I'm going to show you between 30 to 40 pictures with some nice background
04:23music, doing zooms, so you can properly see the small details on the quality, on the colors,
04:28and everything.
04:29And then I'll come back to talk about the selfie.
06:43Okay, so those are a bunch of pictures from the main camera, the zoom camera, the ultra
07:07wide camera.
07:08I think that's the main advantage of buying this phone, an old premium phone, instead
07:12of a present day, low tier phone.
07:15The cameras, they feel, although they're not as good as the S23, or the S22, or the iPhones,
07:20the new iPhones, you can tell this is not a low tier phone.
07:23You can tell the quality, the detail, the processing, it's a lot better than the one
07:27on a $200 phone from 2023.
07:31So yeah, I think we can all agree, both the cameras on the back and the selfie camera
07:34that you're seeing right now, recording at 30 FPS, 1080p, look at this quality.
07:39You can't really get this with any sub $300 phone, new sub $300 phone.
07:44So yeah.
07:45Summing up all of the points on this phone, the camera, the battery life, the display,
07:51the battery, the price, very, very, very low price on Amazon, links in the description.
07:57I think it is an amazing deal.
08:00Sure, it's not as good as the S23, duh, but it is very, very, very cheap.
08:05I think it is under $200.
08:07So for that much money, it's way better to buy an S10 than to buy a low end phone for
08:12the same price.
