00:00It's been an unsettled start to the weekend and Sunday will see further warnings in force
00:04for thunderstorms with heavy rain forecast, though there is going to be some sunshine
00:09around for some of us. In the south and east on Saturday night is where we'll see the
00:13driest conditions through the evening. Elsewhere it will be fairly cloudy with outbreaks of
00:17heavy rain, which could turn fairly persistent across Northern Ireland and southern Scotland
00:22where we've got warnings in force where localised flooding could cause disruptions to travel.
00:28On Sunday morning the outbreaks of rain in the west will slowly move eastwards by lunchtime
00:32clouding things over in the east after a brighter start and through the afternoon we'll see
00:36heavy and thundery showers breaking out across much of the UK, though there will be sunny
00:41spells in between as showers do rattle through fairly quickly and in that sunshine it won't
00:46feel too bad coming up to the low 20s for many of us. On Sunday evening showers will
00:53continue to be heavy mainly across northern areas and it will become a little bit drier
00:58across central and southeastern parts, cloudier in the southwest though. Monday will see some
01:03heavy showers but a generally drier and warmer day. More details on your forecast can be
01:08found online.
