00:00Hello. After any early mist and fog patches clear, Monday will be a fine day for many,
00:05though scattered showers are expected to continue in the south east.
00:10Back to tonight, a yellow weather warning for rain is in force until midnight, due to
00:14a slow moving band of rain across eastern parts of England, bringing some heavy and
00:19thundery showers at times.
00:22Looking at the temperatures for tonight, in the east under cloudier skies, temperatures
00:26will remain in the mid-teens. It will feel fresher in the west though, with lows of 9.
00:32Monday will be a fine and dry start to the week for many, with plenty of sunny spells.
00:37The cloudiest weather will be across north-west Scotland and south-east England, where there
00:41will also be the odd spot of rain.
00:46Temperatures tomorrow will be slightly higher than today, with a maximum of 22 expected
00:50in the south.
00:54Through tomorrow evening, showers will start to ease in the south east, and a band of
00:58rain and cloud will push across Scotland.
01:02Looking ahead to the rest of the week now, though it will be a fine and dry start, things
01:07will become more unsettled through the week.
