00:00After an unsettled weekend, Monday will see further heavy showers, but there will also
00:05be a little bit more sunshine and it will be a bit warmer for some of us. Low pressure
00:11has brought this unsettled weekend and on Monday it's not really going too far, but
00:15for Tuesday higher pressure will start to build in from the west, settling things down
00:19for a time next week. So the best of those settled and dry conditions are across southern
00:24and eastern parts of England. Elsewhere it will be cloudier with outbreaks of rain through
00:29Sunday night, particularly across southern Scotland and northern England where there's
00:34a continued risk of flooding into Monday morning. And on Monday morning those bursts of heavier
00:39rain and cloudier conditions will move eastwards to cover southeastern England and continue
00:43across northwestern England too. And elsewhere where it's been a brighter start, heavy showers
00:48will break out through the afternoon. These could be thundery with a risk of downpours
00:52and a warning in force across eastern Scotland. In the south with lighter winds though and
00:58more in the way of those sunnier spells it will be a bit warmer, highs of 22 or 23 degrees.
01:04And into Monday evening those sunny spells will continue and it will become a little
01:09bit drier across northern parts of the UK after a wet few days. The rest of the week
01:15remaining a bit drier until midweek when we could see more rain in the northwest. Thanks
01:20very much for listening.
