24 October - National weather forecast
Transcript
00:00Hello. It has felt decidedly autumnal over the last few days. However, a change to milder weather has occurred, but rain has also returned to the forecast.
00:09So, dry night across parts of England and Wales. Initially, rain further north and west will become locally heavy and persistent, especially across parts of south-west Scotland for a time.
00:19A mild night right the way across the shop, with temperatures remaining in double figures for all.
00:26A dry start tomorrow morning across many parts of England with a few bright spills. It's not going to stay like that as that band of rain over western parts starts to edge eastwards during the course of the day, breaking and fragmenting as it does.
00:40A few showers following on behind. Temperatures in double figures, around average for the time of year, so feeling fairly warm.
00:47And Sunday evening, the remains of that band of cloud and rain will finally reach the very far east during the course of the overnight period. Further west, a mixture of clear spells and showers, some of those showers becoming locally heavy.
01:00So look at the outlook period, sunshine and showers for Monday, although by Tuesday, cloud and rain moving in more bodily from the north and west, becoming rather mild for all.
