14 November - National weather forecast
Transcript
00:00Hello again. Sunday will start cloudy and murky in places, but we will see some sunshine
00:05develop by the afternoon. However, the far north-west will be cloudy and windy with some
00:10outbreaks of rain. This is down to a cold front which is moving into western Scotland
00:15during Sunday, before continuing slowly south-eastwards on Monday. Ahead of this front there will
00:20be a good deal of dry weather, and where skies clear overnight we will see some areas of
00:25fog developing.
00:27So coming back to Saturday evening, it will be cloudy across Northern Ireland and western
00:31most parts of Scotland, with some outbreaks of rain and drizzle, and with some light drizzle
00:35perhaps spreading into the far west of Wales and Cornwall later in the night. It will also
00:39be cloudy across much of eastern England, with some patchy light drizzle at times. Elsewhere
00:44there will be some clear spells and under clear skies we will see some dense fog patches
00:48forming with temperatures falling low enough for a touch of grass frost. Where it remains
00:52cloudy it will be much milder with minimum temperatures around 9 or 10 degrees.
00:58Sunday morning starts on a grey note for many, with any fog only lifting slowly during the
01:02morning. Low cloud in the east will also lift and break to allow some sunny spells in the
01:07afternoon, although there will also be a few showers. Northern Ireland will be cloudy and
01:12western Scotland will be increasingly windy with outbreaks of rain for much of the day.
01:18Sunday will be another mild day though for this time of November, with maximum temperatures
01:22generally in the range 11 to 14 Celsius.
01:26On Sunday evening the rain is going to continue in the north west, but elsewhere it will be
01:31dry for most, though low cloud will bring the odd shower to parts of eastern England.
01:36It will turn chilly where skies do stay clear, with some fog beginning to form late evening
01:41onwards.
01:42Looking further ahead into the start of next week we will see more changeable conditions
01:46in the north and north west, with occasional rain followed by sunshine and showers. There
01:51will be a lot of dry weather further south, but it will often be cloudy with some dense
01:55fog patches likely in places on Monday morning.
01:59That's all from me for now, and remember you can always stay up to date with the latest
