00:00Yo what's up guys, we are back with another video. Today we've got a Galaxy S21 Plus.
00:07So this is a fantastic deal and I'm going to show you guys this phone.
00:12This one is locked to T-Mobile with certified eBay refurbish.
00:15And I just want to show you guys how the phones come when they are and you get them refurbished and stuff like that.
00:21I get a lot of my phones refurbished guys, so I always recommend it.
00:27And it's just a good way to save money.
00:31So here's the S21 and it's pretty clean.
00:39Alright, so we are all set up and I've been playing around with this phone. I gave it like a day.
00:44And yeah, I really like this phone. This is an excellent pickup for, I think, a really crazy price as well too.
00:51So this certified refurbished version has been really good.
00:55You can find these on eBay and Amazon for around $200 to $250 depending on whether it's locked or unlocked.
01:01And this is the one that I got for locked to T-Mobile which is fine because I'm on T-Mobile.
01:06But you do have the unlocked versions for like $244 I'm seeing online.
01:11So you can find these really, really cheap.
01:14And it's a really good phone guys. I'm really impressed with this phone.
01:18And it doesn't get as hot as the S21 Ultra surprisingly.
01:22But we'll go ahead and get into that a little bit later.
01:25Alright, so let's just talk about the overall design.
01:28It basically looks like an S21 Ultra with just a smaller camera bump, right?
01:34So you do have on here a glass back, some aluminum frame on here.
01:38And it feels really solid in the hand. It's actually a little bit lighter than I actually thought.
01:43And I really like this design. It's got the matte finish so you don't pick up fingerprints as much.
01:48And overall it's pretty thin and like I said lighter than you actually would expect it to be.
01:54It is also IP68 dust and water resistant as well too.
01:58Alright, so the S21 Plus does have a pretty big display.
02:02It is a 6.7 inch display and it looks really good guys.
02:06So it is a dynamic AMOLED display. It's 120Hz HDR10+.
02:111080p 394 for the PPI. It's completely flat as well too.
02:15So for you guys that don't like the curved displays, you'll really like this one.
02:19It's very easy to put a screen protector on this phone as well too.
02:23And like I said, it's a beautiful panel. Pretty big as well too.
02:26In comparison to like the S21 FE which is another great budget option.
02:30This is a much bigger phone.
02:32So yeah, watching content on here, playing games is really nice.
02:36It's a very bright display at again 1300 nits peak brightness.
02:40So taking it outdoors and stuff like that, it looks great still.
02:43So like I said, I'm really impressed with the display on here.
02:46To get such a big high quality display for 200 bucks is pretty nice.
02:50Alright, so we are running Android 13.
02:53This phone should be getting Android 14 as well too and the One UI 6 which is going to be exciting.
02:59We're running the Snapdragon AAA processor and the Adreno 660.
03:03And we do have 128GB of internal storage and we also have 6GB of RAM.
03:09No, 8GB of RAM on here, sorry.
03:11And yeah, the performance on here has been buttery smooth as well too.
03:14So what's pretty interesting about this phone is that it doesn't seem to get as hot as the S21 Ultra.
03:21Which I thought was interesting.
03:23With the S21 Ultra, you could just, like doing anything on it, it kind of gets warm.
03:29But this phone, when you're just, you know, just opening apps and going in and out of applications and stuff like that,
03:35playing games, even if it's nothing too complicated like casual gaming,
03:40it's not really heating up.
03:42So I'm going to sort of like do a battery drain test on this one and the S21 Ultra.
03:46But I did find that kind of strange.
03:49But you can see HDR Extreme on here.
03:52And like I said, performance wise, this thing is going to be a beast.
03:55It basically will kill anything when it comes to gaming.
04:00And in comparison to an older, or not an older, but like a mid-range phone,
04:07a budget phone for $200, you're just saving so much money.
04:10And you're getting such excellent performance.
04:12It's kind of ridiculous at this point.
04:15This is a really, really good phone for $200.
04:18That's why I said it's easily becoming my top three favorite phones so far.
04:25Because I think this is just fantastic for this price point.
04:28And remember, the S21 Ultra, it's kind of like $400 you can find it online.
04:35Use Refurbished.
04:36So to get a phone that's very similar to that phone for $200 is really good.
04:42So it does get better.
04:44The cameras on this phone are phenomenal.
04:47Excellent cameras on this phone.
04:49It's got a 12-megapixel standard, a 64-megapixel telephoto on here.
04:54You also have three times optical zoom on here as well.
04:58I believe it's 1.1 times optical zoom.
05:01And then the three times is hybrid zoom, if I'm remembering correctly.
05:04But it does go all the way up to 30 times zoom, which is pretty nice.
05:08And then you also have 12-megapixel ultra-wide.
05:10It shoots in 8K 24 and then a 10-megapixel selfie cam that shoots in 4K 60.
05:16So you have pretty good specs for the cameras.
05:18But the stills on this phone are absolutely awesome.
05:21It takes some beautiful shots, whether it's a selfie, whether it's like indoor shots.
05:27It takes some really good shots, just like the S21 Ultra.
05:30It does a fantastic job with colors.
05:33I was just really impressed with the overall stills that I was getting on this phone.
05:38Now, yes, it doesn't have that crazy 100 times zoom and all that crazy stuff.
05:42But for the average person who's just looking for a good shot,
05:45like you're just a point-and-click type of person,
05:48this is going to do a phenomenal job.
05:50Video on here also is really good as well too.
05:53So overall, I just really love the camera on here.
05:56I think it's a fantastic camera.
05:58Like I said, you get plenty of detail with these photos,
06:01good dynamic range, good color, good video as well.
06:04Also, you can take advantage of that 64-megapixel lens on here
06:09and you just get some really good shots as well.
06:12So overall, this is a fantastic camera, really, really good camera.
06:16Let's check out the dual speakers on here.
06:18We're at max volume.
06:28Vibrations
06:47It does a pretty good job. These are some pretty loud speakers.
06:49Even if you cover the bottom one, you get really good sound out of the top speaker.
06:53Also, the vibrations on this phone are pretty good as well too.
06:57And you do have an under-the-display fingerprint sensor,
06:59which is very fast as well.
07:01You can also take advantage of face unlock.
07:04Now, the battery situation on here is actually pretty decent.
07:07This phone definitely can last all day.
07:10So it's got a 4,800 mAh battery with 25-watt charging,
07:14wireless and reverse wireless charging.
07:17So far, my battery experience has been pretty good with this phone.
07:20I have not had it die on me in a day.
07:22So you definitely can get over six hours of screen-on time
07:25with this phone for sure.
07:27So overall, this is a complete package for 200 bucks.
07:31If you're locked to a carrier and you pick this up,
07:34I think that's crazy still.
07:37But even if you buy it unlocked and spend the extra 50 bucks,
07:40that's still a really amazing deal for this quality of phone.
07:43It's going to get One UI 6.
07:46Also, it's going to get really good pictures as well too.
07:49So you're going to have excellent photos.
07:51And then you also have a pretty good chip on here.
07:54It can pretty much play any game that you throw at it as well too.
07:57Really good premium hardware.
07:59All of the special features, flagship features as well too.
08:04And there's nothing to not like about this phone at this price.
08:07I think it's actually a pretty amazing phone.
