00:00And this is one of those games where a lot of points are projected for a couple of reasons.
00:07One, the Eagles are playing better.
00:09And number two, the Bengals can't stop anybody, essentially, other than Cleveland, I guess.
00:12That's the only team they've stopped all year.
00:14So the Bengals are home favorites.
00:16They're two and a half point favorites, but as you see here, one of the higher totals
00:18in the NFL on the board, for good reason, this week at 48 and a half.
00:23Did you buy what you saw with the Eagles last week in their dominant performance, both on
00:27offense and, by the way, I should mention, on defense, too, against the Giants?
00:33I thought the defense was impressive, there's no doubt.
00:36A unique team in the NFL to three points, and you've performed really well.
00:41I don't totally buy what I saw from the Eagles on the other side of the football, because
00:46although you can have a great Saquon Barkley game any week, you're not going to have that
00:52game any week.
00:53That was an amazing performance, over 170 yards.
00:58You're not going to likely get that against the Bengals on the road, where I think the
01:03Bengals, as a result, even though they have not been significant defensively overall,
01:09they have been able to come up at moments, and the Cleveland game was a good example
01:14of where they really had to be good all day, because Cleveland's defense is significant.
01:21The Bengals knew that they had to stop Cleveland, and they did an effective job.
01:26Some of it was obviously the injury to Deshaun Watson, going with the younger backup did
01:32not go.
01:33If Winston had been on the sideline for that, it might have been a different story, but
01:38going in the direction that the Browns did was a huge mistake.
01:42I think that in general, the Bengals are a reasonable pick this week as a result.
01:51I don't know whether or not I'll play with the total, but I like the Bengals giving up
01:57the two and a half.
01:58I think they can cover that.
02:00The Bengals, of course, who have dominated the Eagles through the years, by the way,
02:04although going back 20 years, I don't know that it means anything anymore, but the last
02:08time they played was actually a tie during the 2020 season.
02:12Again, rosters look completely different.
02:14We're going back almost to boomer of size, I feel like here.
