00:17Here in Barangay Rojas in Quezon City, more than 114 families or more than 400 residents were evacuated

00:24following the heavy rain caused by Hurricane Christine.

00:27This is one of the barangays in the city that is often flooded when there is a storm.

00:31A few days ago, the rescue efforts of the Quezon City Urban Search and Rescue Team in the barangay were completed

00:37after the flood reached their homes.

00:4028 families were also evacuated, some of whom were forced to board a rescue boat due to the flood.

00:47According to the residents of the barangay, it was not difficult to rescue the residents

00:52because yesterday, the Quezon City Local Government carried out a preemptive evacuation.

00:57Aside from Barangay Rojas, there was also a preemptive evacuation in the barangays of Masambung, Santo Domingo, Maridlo, Bagong Silangan,

01:04Apolonia-Sampson, Parayan, Patalon and Sadamayang Lagis.

01:08The street dwellers in Quezon City were the first to evacuate to ensure their safety while the storm is still raging.
