00:00Top Filipina squash player, Jebica Arribado, won the women's single event after the Philippine Satellite 1 event at the National Squash Center in Manila.
00:12Arribado, who was second seeded, defeated the top seed and Japanese opponent, Erisa Sano, 3-1 in the finals of the competition.
00:21Arribado's momentum was good in the first two sets of the match, but Sano immediately caught up in the third set, 11-8.
00:29Inspired by the home crowd, Arribado was able to regain his momentum in the close match in the fourth set.
00:36But the Philippines was still ahead in the match, 11-9, to continue winning the tournament.
00:42Because of the win, Arribado earned 30 PSA points, which will help him in his world ranking.
