00:00It is a very difficult moment, there are great tensions, there are wars, there are attacks
00:10on the ships of the UTI, so it is a moment in which, above all, the world geopolitics
00:17brings us many concerns, but having said that, let's say that 90% of the goods in the world
00:26travel by ship, and therefore it is an absolutely strategic sector, I currently cover the load
00:34responsible for the whole world of armaments, therefore all the associations of the world,
00:40and Confitarma is certainly a great association, a great story, it has been part of the association
00:47for 100 years, and today it also sees me at the top of the world association, and it is
00:55a great honor, a great privilege that obviously also reflects on Confitarma. The most important
01:00problems that we have to face are those of decarbonization, like all other
01:04maritime sectors, and above all try to bring back to the top the world trade, to lower
01:13the rates, instead of this new tendency to put barriers that prevent
01:25world trade or reduce it, and obviously this is a great sacrifice for world wealth,
01:33we must remember books like those of Adam Smith, in short, the neoclassical economy,
01:40in short, he told us that the wealth of the world depends precisely on world trade.
01:45First of all, the institution has a great presence, and we have had it, for the protection of our
01:51ships, and this, let's say, the government has acted in an exemplary way, because the
01:56military navy has been, let's say, close to our ships when they have passed through
02:02the most delicate areas, as well as within the security of our ports, and the quality
02:09of our ships, the captaincy has done a great job, so the institutions, through the ministry,
02:16we are also looking for a bureaucratic simplification of some, as we have heard today, which are
02:23necessary, these things, to obtain, also to facilitate things today, also using the
02:30most modern procedures on the web.
