00:56We begin with the news, stay with us.
01:15The United Nations organization denounced that the Israeli occupation army is killing
01:19at least one child a day in Lebanon as part of its aggression against the country.
01:24The occupying troops launched at least 11 airstrikes against residential areas in the
01:29Lebanese city of Jamur al-Shafqif, where dozens of houses were destroyed.
01:34The same time, Israeli warplanes bombarded the town of Baalbek and issued an evacuation
01:40alert for the nearby populations in order to advance in their incursion into the territory.
01:50On Thursday, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, UNIFIL, was the target of over
01:5530 attacks, most of them coming from the Israeli occupying forces.
01:58UNIFIL's spokesperson, Andrea Tinelli, stated, so adding that at least seven of the hostile
02:04actions perpetrated by Israel were deliberate.
02:07The Israeli aggression have not only targeted cameras, equipment or watchtowers of the UNIFIL,
02:13but also some of their members have been wounded.
02:16The UNIFIL has been deployed there since Israel invaded the country in 1978 and nowadays UNIFIL
02:23members are concerned over both the Israeli actions and those of the Hezbollah resistance
02:28movement as their lives are at stake.
02:34In Palestine, more than 77 people were killed and dozens are still missing after an Israeli
02:39bombardment of a building in the northern Gaza Strip.
02:42Likewise, more than 300 people were sheltering in the Beg Lahya area, including families
02:47from the Havalia refugee camp.
02:50Several victims are still under the rubble due to the constant aggression of the Israeli
02:54regime.
02:55The Ministry of Health reported that since October 7th, 2023, the Israeli occupation
03:01forces have killed more than 43,000 people and wounded at least 101,000 more, most of

03:13The first meeting of the Global Alliance for the Creation of a Palestinian State and the
03:18End of Israel's Occupation of the Territories was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.
03:23This meeting, considered as a decisive step for the Palestinian state, is part of the
03:28agreements reached at the United Nations General Assembly in September.
03:33Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas thanked King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince
03:38Mohammed bin Salman for their leadership.
03:41The Palestinian leaders also emphasized the need to implement the United Nations Resolution
03:46on the Inter-American Court of Justice within a specific time frame, as well as the implementation

04:04China rejected the trade restrictions imposed by the United States and the European Commission's
04:09decision to impose additional fees on electric vehicles manufactured in the country.
04:14According to the Ministry of Commerce, the measures target sectors such as CHEPS, Artificial
04:19Intelligence and Quantum Computing.
04:22In a statement, Beijing denounced that most of the industries related to this field are
04:27not connected to national security, however, all of them will be affected, which will disrupt
04:33normal economic and trade cooperation between the two countries' enterprises.
04:38Beijing also rejected the European Commission's decision to impose additional fees on electric
04:43vehicles manufactured in the Asian giant.
04:50The US has withdrawn from the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, developed Taifan mid-range
04:56missile system and used it as a tool to maintain its hegemony.
04:59It has made willful deployment and stirred up troubles, which increased the risk of war
05:03in the region.
05:06It has been proven time and again that the US is a real saboteur to peace and a troublemaker.
05:12In addition, the Chinese Spokesman stated that the Liberation Army will prepare for
05:16combat and increase its military capability to fight, win and safeguard its national sovereignty
05:22and territorial integrity.
05:26The Taiwan issue is at the very core of China's core interests and the first red line that
05:30must not be crossed in China-US relations.
05:34China urges the US to fully recognize the severe consequences of arming Taiwan which
05:39would surely backfire, and not to go further down the wrong path.
05:45Several pieces of US weaponry will not close the cross-strait military power gap, still
05:49less stop the historical trend of China's reunification.
05:55The People's Liberation Army will continually improve its combat readiness, comprehensively
05:59enhance the military capability to fight and win, and firmly safeguard national sovereignty
06:04and territorial integrity.
06:08The Russian Defense Ministry reported that 21 Ukrainian missile drones had been intercepted
06:13in six regions on the Black Sea, south of the nation.
06:16The anti-aircraft forces stopped Kaib's new attempt to commit terrorist attacks with unmanned
06:22aerial vehicles on Russian facilities.
06:24In this regard, the Defense Ministry recalled that both the United Kingdom and the Netherlands
06:29promised to finance the purchase of drones for Ukraine, thus leaving confirmation of
06:34their interest in taking part in strikes against civilians in Russia.
06:45We are going to take a short break now, but first we invite you to follow our special
06:49segment dedicated to the upcoming US elections, only on Telesur, today at 7.30 pm KETO time,
06:578.30 Caracas, New York and Havana time.
07:04We'll be right back, stay with us.
07:06Welcome back.
07:28In Belarus, President Alexander Lukashenko stressed the need to promote discussions on
07:32global conflicts and develop measures to overthrow modern challenges and threats.
07:37During the Minsk International Conference on Russian Security, the Belarusian President
07:42warned about the world's tendency towards militarization.
07:45In addition, Lukashenko stressed that the lack of control and balances has led to the
07:50weakening of regional and global security.
07:53At the event, which brings together close to 600 delegations from more than 40 countries,
07:58the Belarusian head of state advocated for unconditional dialogue as an instrument for
08:03the resolution of current conflicts.
08:10Do we need this in Europe?
08:12We don't.
08:13Neither Russia, nor Ukraine, nor we, nor you, the Eurasian continent, we don't need it,
08:19but the danger is great.
08:21That's why, today, before presenting any idea from one side or the other, as they say, a
08:26victory plan or anything else, maybe even nonsense, we have to sit down at the negotiating
08:33table without preconditions.
08:37President Lukashenko also urged the United States to withdraw its nuclear weapons from
08:41the Russian region in order to calm hostilities.
08:46In order to really calm the situation and create conditions for dialogue, it is necessary
08:51to remove the U.S. nuclear weapons from the territory of the Eurasian countries.
08:57This arsenal is an anachronism of the Cold War era.
09:02So we will not stand on the sidelines.
09:05I am responding to those who today are concerned about the fact that we have tactical nuclear
09:10weapons deployed on the territory of Belarus.
09:14In Sudan, more than 130 women committed suicide in a single day for fear of being sexually
09:20abused by warring military groups in the nation's civil war.

09:29wave of denunciations comparable to the increase in sexual crimes.
09:33Hala Al-Karib, regional director of the Strategic Initiative for Women in the Horn of Africa,
09:39confirmed that the reports about the denunciation are absolutely true.
09:42Karib confirms that since the first day of the war, women have been subjected to brutal
09:47abuses and notes that in this conflict, the main victims of the paramilitary forces are
09:52girls and women between 17 and 35 years of age.
10:05In Spain, the Coast Guard rescued units to cover a small boat with at least 75 people
10:10arriving from African countries.
10:13The maritime rescue indicated that the boat was seven miles south of the El Hierro island
10:18and was transferred to the port of La Restinga.
10:22Immigrants from African countries continue to use the route that has been labelled by
10:26the Spanish government as the most dangerous in the world, travelling in boats through
10:31the Canary Islands.
10:32In this context, the Spanish authorities revealed that at least 42,000 people have arrived in
10:38the country by sea in 2024, which represents a 22% increase from the previous year.
10:52In Spain, the death toll after the flash floods that impacted the regions of Valencia
11:06and Castilla, La Mancha, has risen to 104 people as the search for the missing continues.
11:12The floods, that were triggered by a weather phenomenon known locally as DANA, a Spanish
11:17acronym for High Altitude Isolated Depression, left many municipalities in Valencia without
11:23drinking water and some 75,000 people without electricity.
11:28In addition, thousands of cars have been destroyed, roads cut off and areas isolated by water,
11:33mud and landslides.
11:35In this context, the government has mobilised more than 1,200 troops from the Ministry of
11:40Defence, the Military Emergency Unit and the Thermal Forces to assist in the rescue and
11:46clean-up of the large number of affected towns.
11:52In China, super typhoon Gong Rui made landfall in Taiwan, raising 10-metre waves and forcing
11:58thousands of people to flee their homes.
12:01With maximum winds of 184 km per hour, Gong Rui hit the east coast at the town of Shengong
12:08at 1.40pm local time, the Central Meteorological Administration reported.
12:13It had the same strength as Typhoon Gaemi, which was the most powerful storm to hit Taiwan
12:18in eight years, but Gong Rui's radius of 320 km made it the largest in nearly three decades.
12:26So far, at least 27 people have been injured by the storm, which has caused trees to fall
12:32and forced landslides.
12:34Authorities have evacuated 8,600 people from their homes in vulnerable counties and cities.
12:44In Colombia, the President of the Transnational Presidential Council of Haiti, Leslie Voltaire,
12:50stated that the Haitian biodiversity hasn't been lost on his keynote address at the Conference
12:56of the Parties COP16 on Biodiversity in Cali.
12:59The authority assured that Haiti is the cradle of historical botany in the Americas, although
13:05some media have tried to disseminate an unfavourable image.
13:10Notwithstanding, the Haitian biodiversity still retains its full vitality.
13:14The leader further asserted that many of Haitians harness the extensive variety of medical plans
13:20for their health needs.

14:37The meeting, that was set to happen on Wednesday afternoon, was rescheduled to next week as
14:42per the Prime Minister's request.

14:48media reported the alleged presence of mercenaries from a private security company in the capital
14:54Port-au-Prince.
15:00At the same time, in El Salvador, the Congress approved on Wednesday to send a military contingent
15:04to Haiti for medical evacuations.
15:07The agreement, passed with 57 votes of the 60 legislators of the unicameral Congress
15:11controlled by the New Ideas Party of President Nayib Bukele, authorises the incorporation
15:17of the national forces to the multinational security support, MSS Mission, led by Kenya.
15:23The Director of Legal Affairs of the Salvadoran Foreign Ministry, Patricia Aguilera, detailed
15:28that the agreement is subscribed to protect the condition of the MSS Mission in Haiti,

15:49In Argentina, after Wednesday's strike, unions have claimed the protests have just begun
15:53and they remain on the warpath against the government of President Javier Milley.
15:58The major carried out this Wednesday has already been baptised as the super strike, since they
16:03managed to immobilise the whole nation.
16:06In this regard, the leaders of the National Transportation Board gathered to analyse the
16:10scenarios underlined the high rate of participation and announced more actions.
16:15Leaders of the Truck Drivers Association, pilots, airline workers and many other organisations
16:22also ratified the strike was only the first step of an ongoing plan of action.
16:34In Venezuela, the President, Nicolás Maduro, called on the people to work to strengthen
16:38tourism with the nations, so the world becomes a new window for the country's economic growth.
16:45During the presentation of the third edition of the National Tourism Award 2024 at the
16:50Humboldt Hotel in Caracas, the President pointed out that it is necessary to promote the tourism
16:55sector so that people can get to know the cultural richness of Venezuela.
17:00In this sense, the Venezuelan head of state emphasised that the country is abundant in
17:04historical sites that can be made known through tourist plans.
17:17There are a million Chinese tourists who would like to come here. As a goal for the next
17:22two years, we have to guarantee, write it down and ask for help from artificial intelligence
17:28if it is necessary.
17:39We have to guarantee that as I told President Xi Jinping when we recently met there in Kazan,
17:45Russia, we have to guarantee for the Venezuelan tourist engine, the direct flight Beijing-Caracas
17:52and a million Chinese tourists in the tourist sites and tourist services in Venezuela.
