00:00Today is a very important day because we see health professionals from all walks of life
00:10with different facets.
00:12Certainly the social, political, and then the doctors, the clinicians,
00:18in all their organizations.
00:20The union organization, the clinical parties, and the scientific societies.
00:25The scientific society is fundamental in an occasion like this.
00:29The scientific society of anesthesia, reanimation, therapy, intubation, and pain
00:33sees as a reference, as a lighthouse at night, the possibility of training for young colleagues
00:40and for younger colleagues to be a reference also with good clinical practices, guidelines,
00:46what we call increasing quality and guaranteeing safety.
00:51Safety for citizens, for patients, but also for workers.
00:55Scientific societies can also have a role in the response against violence
01:01towards health workers.
01:03The first step, in general, also against violence, is to be able to talk about it.
01:07So find a safe place, a safe house, where we can somehow share these negative experiences
01:14and find a common strategy, which absolutely cannot be the single revenge or the single initiative.
01:20We must also have a common front on this.
