00:00Lots of NFL this hour as we have a lot to do as we look towards week number 13 and our
00:09holiday slate.
00:11Three games on Thursday, one game on Friday.
00:13We have tons of college football to get to with the Crack Crab and Lobster Committee
00:17releasing the new rankings tonight, NBA Cup games tonight as well.
00:23As remember, Adam Silver and the NBA want you to know that those games are more important
00:28than the other games.
00:29How do you feel about it, Barber?
00:30I'm not down with this program at all, like think about what's going on here.
00:36We got, we got enough college, you got nine college tournaments in every frigging island
00:39in the world.
00:40And now we have NBA Cup.
00:41I got to bet on the NHL because I'm the prime minister.
00:44We got football, we got Thanksgiving and college football, they top the list.
00:48I'm sorry, NBA, get it together, like or do it at another time of the year, it's too busy.
00:54I will tell you this, Cam, I will say this.
00:58Being someone who despises generally regular season NBA, I don't like the product.
01:05I don't like the quality of the product.
01:07I think it's so different from the playoffs.
01:09I don't know if guys care, don't care, up, down, whatever.
01:13I felt last year watching the games and being involved in them, wagering on them, that there
01:20was a slightly different, not a playoff level of difference, but a slight difference from
01:26the regular run of the mill, a regular season game in the past.
01:30Now, I also felt that way the last two weeks when they started doing it.
01:33I'm with you on this aspect though.
01:35This week, there are a lot of things going on and it's very tough.
01:40And I don't think the slate's great tonight.
01:42Now Friday, they got wall to wall from like noon to midnight NBA Cup games.
01:46You know, the Knicks are playing at noon, they have all.
01:49So they're trying to kind of squeeze in on Friday a little bit, the day after Thanksgiving
01:53and the college football slate's not great.
01:56So we shall see.
01:57But I do think, Cam, there's like a slight upgrade in how much the teams and or the players
02:05care about.
02:06Very small.
02:07At least golf gets it right though.
02:08I know they play all the time, but they take a break going into Thanksgiving with family
02:12and stuff.
02:13I mean, there's so many sports going on.
02:15How do we better everything?
02:16I'll say this.
02:17And you know, I love golf like you, we're in the, you know, in the top tier of people
02:24who love golf.
02:25Yes.
02:26When else are they taking a break between, aside from now to January 1st?
02:30Like they are nonstop from January all the way through this Thanksgiving break all the
02:37way up to January 1st.
02:38So I think they need a few weeks off.
02:40And I need a few weeks off from those swing season fields that I've had the stomach for
02:46the last two months.
02:47I'm tired of looking at Mark put the Hubbard in the cupboard, Harry English, and all these
02:55other guys.
02:56I want to, I'm looking forward to getting our regular fields back for golf Wednesdays
03:02once we hit January.
03:03All right, Cam, let's go.
03:04NFL week 13 starts on Thursday.
03:07What do we do every week?
03:08We give you some of the futures and are updated against the spread.
03:12Here's the best cam so far this year.
03:14Lions nine and two against the number so far this year, smash city for Dan Campbell
03:22and Detroit Broncos, nine and three Steelers, eight and three Colts, eight and four against
03:28the number chargers, Vikings, cards, bucks, Eagles, bills, commanders.
03:32They're all on the good side of things, Cam.
03:35It's interesting, Carver.
03:36I'm looking at that list and I might go against some of the best ATS teams that actually worked
03:40last week.
03:41Like the commanders didn't cover last week.
03:45What team's really hot as the Broncos.
03:46I'm going to get your take on that game versus Cleveland.
03:48I know Cleveland played better.
03:49I know they're going to be a popular pick and Noah Carver, you're kind of swinging me
03:52to the lions.
03:53I love points, but maybe this is the year of the lions.
03:56Just clean up on Thanksgiving and take everything.
03:58But that Steelers Cincinnati game is interesting too.
04:02I could tell you the Steelers are going to get a lot of money getting three points in
04:05that game.
04:06It almost feels too good to be true.
04:07I might lean Cincy, but a lot of weird, weird lines.
04:11We'll talk about it.
04:13I actually have a note on that for you, which I'm going to get to in a little bit with that
04:16Cincinnati Pittsburgh game.
04:18Because like you said, it's a strange line.
04:19You don't normally see the kind of records that you have in that game and one team be
04:24favored.
04:25The worst teams against the spread this season.
04:27Now the Titans, despite getting their second win against the spread, they're still at the
04:33bottom.
04:34Two and nine ATS jets, Giants, Cowboys, all with three ATS victories.
04:41And then the Rams, Niners, Raiders, Browns, Panthers, and Patriots all on the bad list
04:46as well.
04:47You don't like this list, Cam, because these teams don't get you the window and we don't
04:50appreciate that.
04:51We don't like when you don't.
04:52No, we don't.
04:53But I'm coming back to these loser teams.
04:54Like the Titans might make my card, the Rams are going to make my card.
04:58I'm actually looking at the Panthers again this week against the Bucs.
05:01This is what I do, Carver.
05:02I can't get off it.
05:04Yeah, they're horrible ATS, but maybe they go on a little run deep in the season.
05:08We'll see.
05:09But yeah, the Titans have killed me this year.
05:10I'm not going to lie.
05:12The Titans have been a bad team to back.
05:16And then, of course, I'm sure a lot of people weren't on them this week.
05:19You were.
05:20You can't quit them.
05:21It's like you just can't quit the Titans.
05:25And now I do think they will be very live with the way Washington has played over the
05:31past few weeks in that game on Sunday.
05:34Odds to win the AFC heading into week number 13.
05:38The Chiefs are still the favorites, of course.
05:41Why wouldn't they be at 2-1?
05:43Bills plus 275.
05:44Ravens, Steelers at 12.
05:47Texans at 14.
05:49Chargers at 15.
05:50And then it gets pretty far out after that camp.
05:54I've kind of been setting the line at like the Steelers.
05:59Do you have any faith in anyone below the Steelers on that list to actually win the
06:04AFC?
06:05As crazy as it sounds, I would rather have the Dolphins at 35 than the Texans at 14.
06:11That's how crazy.
06:12They've been playing good football.
06:13The Texans are fraudulent.
06:16The Chargers are still a good team at 15, but I'm surprised.
06:19I think the Bills are better than the Chiefs, but we know the playoff history.
06:23And I don't believe the Steelers' offense is good enough to get it done in the playoffs.
06:27It'd be Ravens and Bills for Chalk, and it'd be Chargers and Dolphins for Super Dogs for
06:31me.
06:33I don't disagree with if you told me I had to have one of those two tickets.
06:38If you were somebody who was like, you have to either take a Dolphin or a Texan ticket,
06:42which one would you want?
06:44I'd probably agree with you on that.
06:46I'd also then say, do I have a third option?
06:49Can I take some?
06:50It's not one of those two teams.
06:51It's a deep option.
06:52Let's just say it's for rummaging.
06:53I don't want either of them, to be fair.
06:58I wouldn't want either.
07:00But that's just how it goes.
07:01On the NFC side, the Lions plus a buck 30 as the favorites, and the Eagles are plus
07:07325, Packers 750, Vikings 850, Falcons and Niners 22 to 1, Cardinals, Seahawks, Bucks,
07:16some big numbers outside of those top four.
07:19I got the Lions wins over.
07:21That's my biggest bet at 10 and a half.
07:22Eagles, I think the Lions are better than them.
07:25Packers, I don't think they're as good as people think.
07:27Hey, Carver, I could really use a friend in Seahawk Nation at 30 to 1.
07:31Maybe we can get this thing.
07:32They played Detroit pretty tough too, but that's a wish and a prayer for me.
07:37Like I cheer for the Bills, the Lions and the Seahawks.
07:40Those are the teams I like.
07:42MVP, which is getting a lot of juice right now.
07:45And it's interesting.
07:46We had a discussion yesterday, me and Ranieri about this.
07:50Jones now plus 150, Lamar is plus 250.
07:55And that board's got, this has changed a little bit from that, from this morning because Barkley's
08:00now 4 to 1.
08:01So the money's continuing to pour in on Saquon Barkley.
08:04And I got Goff at 6 to 1 now as well.
08:07So these things are very fluid as we like to say, Cam, for the MVP board.
08:12And then everyone else is 14 or more further down the line.
08:16Your thoughts on Barkley jumping into the mix here with how well he's played for Philadelphia
08:22or it's nice to put him in the conversation, Cam, but are you a believer like most that
08:27it's always going to go to a quarterback and you're throwing money away by betting on Barkley?
08:32I got Allen and Goff as my two picks at the start of the year, Carver.
08:35You remember that when we did the show, right?
08:37It's documented.
08:38I'm almost going to add Barkley to my portfolio just to have, if he keeps this up.
08:43Goff with that five interception game, he'd be a lot better.
08:45He'd probably be in the two hole, if not that one game.
08:48But it's all about Josh Allen for me.
08:50This is the year.
08:51If the Bills continue to win and he continues to play well, you know, I got a better ticket.
08:55I don't want to play it at plus 150, but I'm all in on the Allen, right?
08:58I had to make it, make another bet.
09:00My home's Herbert Hertz, Darnold.
09:02Nope.
09:03It'd be Barkley.
09:04Look, I think that obviously the, if you don't have Allen or Lamar Jackson by now, the ship
09:11is kind of sailed for you.
09:12I mean, plus 150 is just not, unless he falls back a little, has a bad game, falls back
09:17a little bit, and then you can try and jump in.
09:19But at plus 150, it's tough, especially with how many weeks you have left in the season.
09:26Next one I've got for you is coach of the year.
09:29Last week when me and Scotty did this, it was Mike Tomlin who was the favorite on the
09:34board, but they of course lost to Cleveland last Thursday night.
09:39So now it is Dan Campbell at plus, I got a plus 175, Kevin O'Connell at plus 350,
09:46Sean Payton at six to one, Jim Harbaugh at plus 650.
09:50Payton's the play, if you're looking for like a, I think at six to one, the way Denver's
09:54playing this year.
09:55You talked about their ATS record, they're way over their wins total, if Dan Campbell
09:59and the Lions have a tough schedule down the stretch, I'd like a piece of Sean Payton at
10:03six to one.
10:04Harbaugh's done a good job, Tomlin, but what Denver has done, nobody saw this coming with
10:08Bo Nix.
10:09I like Payton at six to one, if I had another option, Campbell will probably win.
10:14I always, the way that I look at this award, Cam, in this sport and in every sport, is
10:18I usually take the guy that gets a team into the playoffs that people felt had absolutely
10:24no, because there's usually always one of them, a team that had absolutely no shot of
10:28getting in.
10:29In the NFL, I think it's easy to do, Cam, because you look at what was the preseason
10:33win total, right?
10:34That's usually a pretty good indicator of how bad someone thought, or people thought
10:39a team was going to be, and Denver's was pretty low.
10:43So that gives Sean Payton some credence, and yeah, five and a half, four, did it ever get
10:49that low, Cam?
10:50Did it get as low as four and a half?
10:51I think it was four and a half with high juice, five and a half plus money, and I'm on the
10:55commanders, I know I got the commanders at six and a half over with theirs, with even
11:00juice.
11:02And look, I think if Arizona wins the NFC West, same things can be said for Jonathan
11:08Gannon with what they've done.
11:10So I usually lean to give it to guys like that, but if Campbell goes 16 and one, just
11:20smashes everyone every week, there's also a pretty good argument there for that.
11:25Barkley and the offensive player of the year is now starting to gain some steam.
11:31In fact, he's starting to run away a little bit from Henry, who was the leader for a little
11:36while.
11:37Minus 320 for Barkley, plus 300 for Henry, and Jamar Chase is 11 to one.
11:43It's funny, Cam, because Chase is having just a stupid good year, Jamar Chase, and I know
11:49the Bengals suck this year, and they're four and seven, but he's having an incredible,
11:55eye-popping video game stat type of year, but so is Barkley and Henry, and those are
12:00going to be the guys coming down the stretch here.
12:03Unbettable number at 320, but hey, if the Cincinnati, if they go on a heater and make
12:07the playoffs and win every single game, it's going to be because of Chase, but I need a
12:12better number than 11 to one.
12:13They got so much work to do.
12:16A lot of work, indeed.
12:18And another award that has changed a lot, the odds board, over the past couple weeks
12:23is the offensive rookie of the year.
12:25I think that-
12:26Is a problem.
12:27A lot of people had it.
12:28I saw it.
12:29We had it on the, Jayden Daniels on here at minus 1,500, minus 2,000 at one point a few
12:36weeks ago, and that has changed.
12:38Bo Nix is heavily involved now.
12:40He's plus 150, Daniels down to minus 180, and Brock Bowers and everybody else pretty
12:47far back of those guys.
12:49You got a little juice for Bo Nix here, Cam, with what he's done for the Broncos the past
12:53few weeks.
12:54I told you, I got a Daniels ticket, and Bo Nix, I didn't get a good enough ticket.
12:58I didn't get a good enough number.
12:59I screwed up.
13:00I was sleeping on the Broncos.
13:01And I'm just going to have to let this one play out, but I wish I had a Bo Nix ticket
13:04in my pocket.
13:05Man, Lad McConkie at 75 to one, he deserves better than that.
13:10He's amazing.
13:12But anyway, he's not going to win.
13:13But yeah, it's between Daniels and Nix.
13:16I can't buy Nix at that price.
13:17Sorry, Carver.
13:18I'm in with Daniels.
13:19Whatever happens is going to happen.
13:21The funny thing is, is that Nix was like 20 to one two weeks ago, three weeks ago.
13:27I didn't get it.
13:28It was a great number for Bo Nix, and people thought that Daniels was going to run away
13:33and hide.
13:34And we've now seen this the past couple of years.
13:37You've seen some mid to late season swings with that rookie of the year, so you got to
13:43keep your eye on it.
13:44And sometimes if you think a guy's out of it, especially a quarterback, Cam, you can
13:48stash away.
13:50If you think the guy's going to play a lot, which Nix has and which Daniels has, because
13:55they're always got a shot if their team starts winning and getting in the mix.
13:58TJ Watt's the favorite for defensive.
14:01I actually didn't realize.
14:02I thought he'd be a bigger favorite than minus 125.
14:05But the next closest is Garrett, who's 10 to one.
14:08I guess that that's just Garrett off of saying that he was the best after the game last week.
14:13They had to move Myles Garrett up after what he said against them.
14:18He's not even the second best defensive player.
14:21That guy bet with Watt, just all age use.
14:23It's like a hockey game.
14:24All day, all night.
14:26I know he'd have a great game last week.
14:28As me and Scotty say every week here, he's the best defensive player in football.
