Rains and thunderstorms to continue affecting areas across the Philippines

00:00The effects of different weather systems in our country are still ongoing.

00:05The first one is the north-east monsoon rain in the extreme northern luzon.

00:10And the shearline in the eastern part of the northern luzon,

00:13this is the line where the cold and hot easterly breeze meets.

00:18And we also have the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ in the eastern and eastern part of Mindanao.

00:24This is the line where the wind meets from the northern and southern hemispheres.

00:29So the chance of rain will be high until tomorrow.

00:32Based on our latest satellite animation,

00:35we can't see any low-pressure area or typhoon

00:38that will enter our Philippine area of responsibility in the next few days.

00:44Today, the chance of rain is still high here in the northern luzon.

00:48The effect of the north-east monsoon if here in Batanes,

00:51there is a weak rain and cold temperature.

00:54While here in Maycagayan, Isabela, Apaya,

00:57and nearby towns, the weather is still gloomy.

01:01And it will still be accompanied by heavy rain and thunderstorms.

01:04The chance of rain and landslides is still high,

01:07up to the shearline.

01:09In the northern part of the luzon,

01:11the part that is cloudy and sometimes cloudy skies

01:14is still accompanied by a high chance of rain here in the eastern side of Luzon,

01:19particularly around Sierra Madre,

01:21here in Aurora and Quezon, around Banahaw.

01:24And it will also be here in Bicol Region,

01:26when it reaches the afternoon to night.

01:28While in Metro Manila and nearby areas,

01:30there are still areas and times that are gloomy,

01:33especially in the afternoon and afternoon.

01:36Our temperature in Metro Manila is from 25 to 32 degrees,

02:33there are areas in Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi,

02:36southern portion of Zamboanga Peninsula,

02:39and Soxalgen.

02:40There will be rain as early as this morning.

02:43And the remaining part of Mindanao will be gloomy

02:45when it reaches the afternoon

02:46and there is a high chance of heavy rain and thunderstorms

02:49at the end of the Intertropical Convergence Zone.

02:52Our temperature in Metro Davao is up to 32 degrees,

02:56while it is still the hottest in Zamboanga City and Cotabato

02:59up to 33 degrees Celsius.

03:02For today,

03:03the stormy sea is still expected here in Baybayin,

03:06in Northern Luzon.

03:07It is still affected by the Northeast Monsoon or Hanging Amihan.

03:10But when it reaches later at night,

03:12it will gradually get stronger.

03:14It is possible to reach up to 4 meters
