00:00Good evening Sadler's fans, I'm inside Beskott where Wolves Hall have just booked their place
00:05in the round of 16 in the EFL Trophy after a 4-2 shootout success over League One outfit
00:12Reading after Danny Johnson's last gasp equaliser forced the tie to penalties. Matt Sadler made
00:21eight changes from the weekend victory at Port Vale with only Taylor Allen, Charlie
00:27Lakin and George Hall retaining their places in the starting eleven and Walsall made a
00:34dominant start. Albert Adoma fluffed his lines with the goal at his mercy after Rico Brown
00:40had flushed a low-fizzing ball across the penalty area. And Danny Johnson had a gilt-edged
00:47chance himself on 20 minutes, another good attack from Walsall and he lifted his finish
00:51over. And it felt really like Walsall should have been two or three ahead at least at the
00:56break but they just lacked that clinical touch. And Reading after the interval were
01:02reduced to ten men, David Button was penalised for a foul on George Hall and then Reading
01:11against the run of play took the lead when Hornby spilled the ball inside the penalty
01:18area and Tyler Sackey fired home from close range. But Walsall kept pressing for that
01:28equaliser, Nathan Lowe was introduced, Connor Barrett was introduced and it eventually came
01:34with the last kick of the game. Cleary, another substitution down that left-hand side, delivered
01:39the ball into the box. It eventually worked its way to Johnson and he lashed home a volley
01:44into the far top corner. Hornby then made amends for that mistake for the goal with
01:51a pair of penalty saves. Walsall scored all four of their penalty kicks and Rear's Cleary
01:56stepped up to score the decider and put Walsall's place in the next round.
