00:06This is the latest weather forecast for the last day of the month of 2024,
00:11December 31, Tuesday.
00:14In our latest satellite images,
00:16we can see that there are still three weather systems that are affecting our country.
00:20The Intertropical Convergence Zone will still bring cloudy skies
00:24and there is a high chance of heavy rains in Visayas, Mindanao, Palawan, and other parts of the Bicol Region.
00:33The Shear Line will still bring heavy rains and cloudy skies,
00:40particularly in some parts of the Northern Luzon.
00:43While the Amihan or Northeast Monsoon will still bring light rains,
00:49particularly in some parts of the Extreme Northern Luzon,
00:52the area of Batanes and Baboyan Islands.
00:55And we can see that for now,
00:57we are not monitoring any low-pressure areas inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
01:03That's why we are not expecting any typhoons in the next few days.
01:06And generally, this year, in 2024,
01:09there were 18 typhoons that entered and formed inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
01:15In other parts of our country, including some parts of the Luzon and Metro Manila,
