00:00Good morning to all of you and live from ASA Weather Forecasting Center.

00:06This is the latest weather forecast for the last day of the month of 2024,

00:11December 31, Tuesday.

00:14In our latest satellite images,

00:16we can see that there are still three weather systems that are affecting our country.

00:20The Intertropical Convergence Zone will still bring cloudy skies

00:24and there is a high chance of heavy rains in Visayas, Mindanao, Palawan, and other parts of the Bicol Region.

00:33The Shear Line will still bring heavy rains and cloudy skies,

00:40particularly in some parts of the Northern Luzon.

00:43While the Amihan or Northeast Monsoon will still bring light rains,

00:49particularly in some parts of the Extreme Northern Luzon,

00:52the area of Batanes and Baboyan Islands.

00:55And we can see that for now,

00:57we are not monitoring any low-pressure areas inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

01:03That's why we are not expecting any typhoons in the next few days.

01:06And generally, this year, in 2024,

01:09there were 18 typhoons that entered and formed inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

01:15In other parts of our country, including some parts of the Luzon and Metro Manila,

01:21we are still expecting generally fair weather,

01:24but it means that isolated rain showers and thunderstorms are still possible.

01:28There are also isolated light rains in the Ilocos Region.

01:32Here in Luzon, we are expecting that there will be a high chance of heavy rains in the Amihan,

01:39particularly in Batanes and Baboyan Islands,

01:43while in other parts of the Eastern Section of Luzon,

01:46including Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon Province, and Bicol Region,

01:54we will still experience cloudy skies,

03:12with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.

03:15The temperature outside is 24 to 32 degrees Celsius,

03:19in Cebu, it is 26 to 31 degrees Celsius,

03:22while in Tacloban, it is 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.

03:26And in the ITCC, a large part of Mindanao

03:29will bring cloudy skies, where there are signs of rain,

03:34especially in the Eastern section of Mindanao,

03:37the Caragat and Dabao Region.

03:39The temperature outside is 24 to 32 degrees Celsius,

03:42while in Cagandeoro, it is 25 to 30 degrees Celsius,
