00:00Wolf, as you can imagine, not the most popular person for Patriots fans
00:04after the draft and free agency and everything else.
00:06How do you view that working relationship?
00:09And once again, like last year, we have that question of
00:12one person does have to have final say
00:15if everybody in the room is arguing over the number four pick.
00:18How do you see all of this working out?
00:22Start at the end.
00:24My understanding and belief is that Mike Vrabel will have final say.
00:30Elliot Wolf is in a support role.
00:32Even though the title says that he will be over Ryan Cowden,
00:36I don't know exactly the landscape there,
00:40how that will flesh out.
00:43But from everything I've been told and from everything that has been indicated so far,
00:47Elliot wants to be in a support role.
00:50He doesn't want to run herd on the personnel department.
00:56I'm not saying he's going to recede into the background.
01:00Entirely, but I think that his job safety and his short and long-term future
01:07are attached to his ability to say,
01:10hey, I want to help Mike.
01:12I don't want to argue with Mike.
01:14I want to find out what Mike wants and get that for him.
01:18So that's why I think Elliot Wolf is not going to be somebody who is,
01:22you know, unless all the indications that were being given,
01:25I haven't been told this,
01:26but I don't think Elliot Wolf is here till April and then gone after the draft.
