00:08to answer some of the health questions that you sent to our FB page.
00:14Good morning to you, Doc Q!
00:16Good morning, Connette!
00:17Of course, today is the first day of the month of hearts,
00:20that's why we are filled with love and greetings to our loved ones this morning.
00:25Good morning to all of you!
00:27Question number one, Doc, the question is to the breastfeeding mom,
00:31is it okay to put sunscreen on her 7-month-old baby?
00:36Oh my, it doesn't look good,
00:39because sunscreen has a lot of components that can cause allergy or dermatitis to your baby.
00:46That's why you should consult with your pediatrician first
00:49if this is okay for her or maybe not.
00:53That's why you should consult with your pediatrician first
00:55if this is okay for her or maybe not.
00:58Next question, Doc Q,
01:00is there a diet that can help those who have PCOS or Polycystic Ovary Syndrome?
01:06That question was sent to us by Layla B.
01:09The problem with women who have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome,
01:14this is what they call PCOS,
01:18is that they have insulin resistance.
01:21It means that our body produces insulin,
01:26but our body does not use insulin.
01:29That's why the blood, the sugar,
01:31only goes to the blood and tissues,
01:34especially the fatty tissues.
01:36That's why the woman gets fat.
01:38Now, if that's the information we know,
01:42it means that there are foods that are not allowed.
01:45Yes, you can eat, but only moderately,
01:48such as fatty foods, saturated fats,
01:53sweet foods, sweet drinks,
01:56because, of course, it has a high sugar content.
01:58Also, foods that are too oily,
02:01we should avoid those.
02:03If a woman has PCOS,
02:05she should eat deep-sea fishes that are rich in Omega-3,
02:10vegetables, and of course,
02:12hydration is also needed.
02:14So, women who have PCOS,
02:17they should know what foods are allowed for them,
02:21so that they can limit their weight gain,
02:24and their blood sugar can be reduced.
02:39Thank you very much for talking to us, MTE,
