00:00Come down with my dad to a training session because he was coaching my brother, just loved
00:08being there, it was like kicking the balls around or passing, and I was like, oh dad,
00:12I really want to go down again. And then I joined the under-7s here and played through
00:17until I was 13, which then I had to leave to go to a girls' hub down in Sweaty Soft
00:22Spurs internationally. And then I played through there until I was about 18 and I got picked
00:27up with Scarlets, which I had played with them for two years. And then I moved from
00:32Ulfa to Llandudbury College where I was playing 7s, but I'm not really much of a 7s player.
00:39I had an email about being in the extended squad for the 18s and then I went to Edinburgh
00:46and got my 18s cap. I also had my 20s cap when I was in college. I got that over in
00:52Canada and I was only 17 then. I went to Cardiff Met then where I was playing box rugby, but
00:58I got injured last year so I didn't really play much for Cardiff Met. And then the Celtic
01:02Challenge started back up. I played all of last year's Celtic Challenge at back row and
01:08I got brought into the senior Six Nations squad and I was learning loosehead then. And
01:14then 20s started back up again and I played my first game, I come off the bench against
01:20England. And then we went away to Parma where I just, I don't know, something clicked and
01:27I was playing really well and I was really enjoying it. I thought it really suited my
01:31game. And then coming back from Italy, I got thinked as most valuable player, which I was,
01:38it kind of gave me the boost because I was really struggling with it and I was like,
01:42I didn't know if I wanted to carry on doing it.
01:44I remember going to, we had a weekend trip to train against New Zealand and I remember
01:49just standing there and I was on the sideline and Ruby 2, it was over there, on the pitch
01:56and I was just like, what is actually going on right now? All the hard work over the past
02:01few years and how the sacrifices my mum and dad made to take me training or to just do
02:08anything they can, it was just all come through. It would be the best experience I've ever
02:14had in my life.
