00:00We are at a precipice in most of our leadership journeys where we have to make sure that we're
00:09delegating, mentoring, preparing our teams to take on more so that we can really evolve
00:15as leaders.
00:16NextGen is giving us the opportunity to stop, to think, to learn, to share, to become stronger
00:24together.
00:25Not only as a team, but also as a network.
00:28We're all coming together from all different countries, all different disciplines, from
00:32all different areas of expertise, and we're all working together and learning how to really
00:37see and hear one another.
00:39It really represents this forward momentum that we have as a network.
00:52You have 60 leaders from different parts of the world coming together, talking about issues
00:57and ideas and how they approach a problem.
01:00I've never seen an organization that has made such a big investment in bringing different
01:04cultures into the room.
01:06There's power in the connections you make here to solve future problems because the
01:11people sitting next to you are different.
01:13It totally takes you out of your comfort zone where you live and transforms you into its
01:19own built-in ecosystem and space so that all you can do is concentrate on learning and
01:24building relationships.
01:26In addition to the learning experience of the frameworks that you're introduced to,
01:30the personal connections are above and beyond anything I've experienced before.
01:34I arrived with certain notions of who I am as a leader and who I want to be as a leader.
01:39Some were proven true, and I think others gave me a lot to reflect on.
01:45As we look towards the future of just continued efficiency, of innovation, of more technology,
01:50it's been really great to share ideas about how to navigate the changing dynamics of the
01:56whole industry.
01:57The frameworks that we've been learning helps us to think about growth for our agency, for
02:02our people, and how we can just make it a great place to work.
02:06I've seen a difference in the way I've been managing my team over the last six months.
02:10We also have this responsibility of sharing to our team when we come back in our office,
02:15like what's the vision, where they want to go, and how can we do this together.
02:22Even though the cultures are different, the languages are different, we've been able to
02:25help each other on pitches, on projects, on exchanging ideas.
02:30The business of Avas is the people, so creating these links between people and what ideas
02:35we can put in place to shape our future is very important.
02:43In NextGen, I learned that I have to be brave.
02:46When I come back to my country, I have a lot of energy to make things better.
02:50What I've taken from NextGen is a better understanding of who I am as a leader.
02:56We need to be curious, we need to be innovators, and this is how we will continuously learn
03:02and overcome any challenge.
