00:00what's up guys it's doo-doo poker here back for another video today we're going to be talking
00:09about an under the gun first big blind single raise pot spot okay so i have ace of diamonds
00:1810 of hearts okay i raise under the gun min raise and i get called by the big blind the flop comes
00:25jack of diamonds 10 of clubs four clubs okay now i'm going to put this this is a real hand so i'm
00:33going to show you what happened and then we're going to go over the hand so in this hand i raised
00:40up this guy called without first thing we have to know is his woman saw flop so we want to bluff this
00:47guy okay that's the first thing you want to know you want to bluff this player so the flop comes jack
00:5310-4 okay this hand can go either way on the flop i decide to bet half pot okay so i bet half pot
00:59he calls now turn is a seven of clubs now he checks and i check back which i should do okay now the
01:08river is the important point he bets 75 pot he bets 165 into 220 okay 75 now i have a decision to make
01:18i should never bluff catch here okay because he's very tight now my decision is between folding and
01:25raising
01:25now in the in the hand i jammed all in okay for about 5x pot and he folded but i want to go over
01:38why i think jamming is the best play so let's go to here and we have i go half pot on the flop
01:46i have ace of diamonds 10 of hearts big blind calls turn is a seven of clubs it goes check check
01:55which i should do and river is a nine of clubs now you'll see here mostly going small medium or ob right
02:07i guess that's all sizings but my point is is it's he went 75 and i don't have that sizing in gto
02:15wizards so we're gonna have to go with 61 okay now a solver will not jam here with ace 10 okay
02:22it says it is a little less than a one big blind mistake okay so here is why i think jamming is the
02:30best play first of all we have ace of diamonds 10 of hearts that's a very good combo to bluff with
02:39why is that a good combo to bluff with because we block ace of clubs 10x he can't have ace of clubs
02:4710 of hearts now because i have the 10 of hearts right so we block one nutted combo it's hard to find
02:52bluffs here but blocking ace of clubs 10 of hearts because i have the 10 of hearts is very very good
02:59okay secondly we know it's a little little less than one big blind mistake in a solver
03:04but we have to understand that players are very um their tendency is to bet their hand what i mean by
03:17that is if he had a nutted hand like a straight flush or an ace of clubs it's very likely he puts
03:24it in the over bet line or even a bet bigger than 75 like a pot bet or an over bet right once he puts
03:30um his hand class whatever he has in the bet 75 line after i bet 50 on the flop it's more likely he
03:41has a hand like a jack of clubs type hand a queen of clubs type hand a king of clubs type hand
03:47and the problem with those hands is if you bet if you only raise 80 instead of 450 those hands still
03:57will probably call you people don't like to fold high absolute value hands right so we want to make
04:04him fold his hand how do i make him fold his hand well one way to do that is putting him in a zero ev
04:13spot with all of his bluff catchers so instead i go all in and now
04:19now the king of clubs is going to fold okay now the um the queen of clubs the queen jack
04:32with a jack of clubs all these hands are going to fold they're going to say it's not worth it right so
04:36we want to make him over fold because if he's folding mixed hands like a sex king of clubs is a
04:43next hand right then that means he's over folding so in game i jammed and we want to leverage our
04:53stack this is why no limit's so great we leverage our stack and we make our opponent over fold now i
04:59know it's scary and you can lose a stack here but it's going to be the highest ev play in the long run
05:04because remember folding is always zero ev but i think even though theory doesn't love it i think
05:11we can make a better play and use his bet sizing as a tell to him not having the ace of clubs
