00:00Hello there, good morning. Temperatures are on the up, plenty of warm spring sunshine to go around,
00:06but could this lead to a risk of thunderstorms over the weekend? Well, before we talk about that,
00:10let's talk about Friday. So it's going to be quite a chilly start, potentially some patches of mist
00:15and fog in places, but any of this clearing quite quickly. And with high pressure dominating,
00:20that means lots of dry, sunny weather on the cards, particularly across central areas where
00:24it's quite cloudy yesterday afternoon. The only caveat could be across the very far north and
00:29northwest of Scotland, potentially some clouds spilling in here, maybe even some light outbreaks
00:34of rain later into the afternoon. But for most, it's going to be dry, feeling warm in the sunshine,
00:40highs reaching around 21 degrees Celsius. But you're really going to feel that warmth across
00:45eastern areas where it's been fairly chilly through most of the week. If we compare temperatures to
00:5024 hours prior, many areas are going to be a good three to six degrees warmer. So really feeling the
00:55warmth across eastern areas and that sunshine as we head through into this afternoon.
01:00Then into the evening, remaining dry, there were just a chance of some light outbreaks of rain
01:05pushing in across the northwest. Once again, more clouds spilling in here. And with plenty of clear
01:10skies to come, once again, it could turn fairly chilly under clear skies, possibly once again,
01:16some localised mist and fog, but otherwise staying mostly dry and clear.
01:20So another fairly chilly start to Saturday. But once again, it's going to be a dry and pleasant
01:27day ahead. Wall-to-wall sunshine in some spaces. But across the far northwest, once again, just more
01:33cloud feeding in here, potentially some light outbreaks of rain. Western parts of Northern Ireland
01:37too could catch this. And this just might make the sunshine turn a little bit hazy at times. But still,
01:43lots of pleasant warm sunshine around, highs of around 22 degrees Celsius. So not a bad start to the
01:49weekend. Now, we do just need to keep an eye out across the south as we head into Sunday. Just this
01:55area of low pressure could potentially push up something across the southwest. Heavy showers,
02:00these possibly turning into some thundery downpours. So something we need to keep an eye on for Sunday.
02:06Also, once again, more clouds spilling into the northwest. Also a chance of some light outbreaks of
02:10rain here. But for many of us, it should be a dry end to the weekend with sunny spells. But for more
02:16information, you can catch Aidan on YouTube with our weekend weather. Otherwise, that's it from me. Bye-bye.
