00:00Hello, good morning. So, mist and fog patches first thing for some of us, particularly across
00:05England and Wales, those clearing to sunny spells. And the reason for that is high pressure
00:09keeping it settled, however, to the north-west, low pressure moving in. And that's going to
00:14become more of a dominant feature as we head through the weekend, particularly through
00:18Sunday. Stronger winds, outbreaks of rain pushing back across the country.
00:23For this morning, mist and fog patches slowly clearing, plenty of sunny spells across England
00:27and Wales. However, Northern Ireland, Northern and Western Scotland, cloudy start here with
00:32some outbreaks of patchy rain and drizzles and low cloud over the hills giving some tricky
00:37travelling conditions here. But through the day, not much changes really. It stays cloudy
00:41in the north-west, further outbreaks of rain, quite breezy here too. The wind's just picking
00:46up a little around western coast of England and Wales. But for most of us, it will be
00:50a dry and bright day, plenty of sunny spells, a little more cloud around compared to Thursday,
00:56but plenty of sunshine around, particularly across northern and eastern England. Eastern
00:59Scotland also staying dry with some sunny spells and the wind's coming up from the south.
01:04So again, temperatures around the mid-teens, locally 16 or 17 Celsius across southern parts
01:10of England and Wales. As we head through the evening time, the rain
01:16moves in further across the north-west of the UK. Outbreaks of heavy rain pushing in
01:21and driving its way north and eastwards, perhaps affecting north-west England into
01:26the early hours as well. But for England and Wales, generally it stays dry. We'll see clear
01:31spells and again some mist and fog patches forming under the clearest skies. The clearest
01:37skies for the east and south-east of England here, temperatures in single figures. But
01:41as the cloud and the wind increases further north and west here, temperatures on the mild
01:45side starting Saturday around 12 or 13 Celsius across the north-west. But brisk winds, outbreaks
01:52of heavy rain here and it's going to stay here for much of the day. Perhaps some dry
01:56interludes at times across northern Ireland, but generally a wet picture here. Across much
02:01of England and Wales, another dry day to come, some hazy spells of sunshine. However, later
02:07on in the afternoon, into the evening time, the cloud will thicken across parts of Wales
02:11and the west country. Outbreaks of heavy rain developing here. In the best of the sunshine,
02:16temperatures again 16, 17 Celsius, feeling a little cooler around these western parts
02:20where we do have a brisk wind. Taking a quick look into Sunday, we see rain pushing during
02:27the early hours north and eastwards, slowly clearing away and then a blustery day to come.
02:32Sunny spells and heavy showers moving in from the west, but the wind still coming in from
02:36the south. So, quite mild for the time of year, 17, 18, possibly 19 Celsius across southern
02:42parts of the UK. So, it's all change. Over the next few days, high pressure starts to
02:47move away. Low pressure replaces this with some wet and windy weather. See you again
