Abandoned Dog Leads Rescuers To 10 Newborn Puppies And Their Mother
A formerly abandoned dog now named Hero, has gained quite a few fans after he helped save a litter of ten puppies and their mother.
A formerly abandoned dog now named Hero, has gained quite a few fans after he helped save a litter of ten puppies and their mother.
Prior to doing that, animal rescuers had spent weeks attempting to help him and other strays in a park but Hero managed to evade them. Last Tuesday, however, he was frantically barking in what was an effort to get human help.
Eventually the male lab led rescuers to a wooded area in the park where the mother named Mona and her puppies were staying. The babies had been born in a dirt hole and they were only about a day old.
They were removed from the park and soon landed in a foster home. Hero was also taken out of the park and placed into the same foster home with Mona and the puppies.
