Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, currently on a four-day Latin American tour, will meet his Central American counterparts later today in a meeting in Guatemala to discuss trade and security issues. Russia is seeking observer status in the Central America Integration System (SICA) as part of its policy of strengthening ties with the region. teleSUR
