Hallelujah!! By far the heaviest triple I done on Piper Squats!! My max is 257lb. This are such a good Quad workout. If you want to go really deep on these, then you will have to go into a Deep Knee Bend stance allowing the heels to rise as you move the knees forward. IF you do this then you won't have to bend forward as I do here. Remember, you MUST offset the weight that is behind you. This requires you to move forward to balance of the COG of YOU and the COG of the weight. It is simple physics.
As you'll see, I missed a double with 235lb. Notice how easy it was to dump the weight?? This is a simple, easy way to Squat without a Power Rack!! Don't make excuses for why you can't do Squats...THERE ARE NONE! Now get to it!! Good Luck & God Bless
