Tutorial Eyebrow and Eye Make-up tips and tricks

00:00 Alright, so I'm going to go ahead and start out by using scotch tape and I'm aligning
00:08 the scotch tape from the outer corner of my eye to the end of my eyebrow.
00:13 This is going to give your shadow and liner a very clean line at the end.
00:24 Now I'm taking this eyebrow kit from Japonesque and I'm using the clear brow wax just to set
00:29 all my brow hairs down before I fill them in.
00:33 Now I'm taking my Anastasia Brow Wiz in brunette and I'm going to fill my whole brow with just
00:39 this product.
00:41 I'm taking three dots from the beginning of my brow, the highest arch, and the end of
00:46 my brow and you're pretty much just going to be playing connect the dots and filling
00:50 it in.
00:51 This is the easiest way I've found to fill in my brows and it's really easy for any beginner
00:56 to start.
00:57 When filling in your brows you want the most opaque part to be the middle and the end.
01:02 You kind of want to feather out towards the front of your brow just because if your whole
01:07 brow was one solid color it's going to look really fake and we do not want that.
01:17 Now I'm setting my brows with this Japonesque brow gel just to keep my brows staying in
01:22 place.
01:24 You always want to prime your lids before you put on shadow so I'm using NARS Pro Prime
01:28 Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base and this is great for anyone with oily eyelids because it will
01:33 prevent your shadow from creasing throughout the day.
01:36 I'm taking my e.l.f.
01:37 Cosmetics Eyeliner Brush and I'm dipping it in MAC's Soft Ochre Paint Pot.
01:41 I'm going to use this to define underneath my eyebrow just to define the shape and then
01:46 I'm going to take my finger and pack it all over my lid just to act as a base for the
01:50 shadows.
01:51 I'm just going to create my lid to be one color so the shadows will come out that much
01:55 more pigmented.
01:56 With a big fluffy eye brush from BH Cosmetics I'm dipping it in the Lorac Pro 2 Palette
02:04 Light Brown and I'm going to be using a windshield wiper motion into my crease focusing on the
02:10 outer edge.
02:24 Taking my Sigma E59 brush I'm going to go ahead and use the color Buff and pack that
02:28 all over my lid.
02:34 Taking my Sigma E58 brush I'm using the color Snow and placing that under my brow bone for
02:40 highlight as well as the inner corner of my eyes.
02:50 Doing eyeliner comes with a couple steps.
02:52 You first want to go ahead and start out by how far and high you want it to go.
02:58 I'm going a little bit below the middle of my eye.
03:03 I don't want anything too dramatic.
03:04 This is more of just an everyday eyeliner.
03:07 There won't be a wing to it really, it's just going to be very slight.
03:11 But I'm going to go ahead and just drag it along to the middle of my lid.
03:17 Just to the middle.
03:18 You want to focus on that outer edge part first and fill it in.
03:22 And then when going to the inner corner you want to use small strokes going the opposite
03:27 direction.
03:28 So towards the middle.
03:29 You don't want to be going towards the inner corner of your eye because then you can lose
03:33 control.
03:34 So with smaller strokes starting at the inner corner of the eye, make your way to the middle
03:40 of where you made the first stroke and blend it all together.
03:57 I'm taking my Maybelline Define a Line Eyeliner and I'm lining my upper waterline just to
04:21 make my eyeliner look much more full and black.
04:25 I'm also taking it down on my waterline but only taking it to the middle.
04:28 I don't want anything too dramatic.
04:33 You always want to go ahead and curl your lashes before applying mascara just to make
04:37 them that much more curly.
04:39 But I'm using my L'Oreal Telescopic Mascara and I'm going to go ahead and start at the
04:44 bottom and root of my lash and pretty much shimmy the wand left to right to the tip of
04:50 the lash.
04:51 You're essentially teasing your lashes when you're doing this so it's going to make them
04:55 much more fuller and it's going to apply the mascara to every single lash.
04:59 I'm also applying mascara to the back of my lashes as well to make them more black.
05:09 Another tip, tilt your head up when doing your top lashes and tilt your head down when
05:13 doing your lower lashes.
