00:00 - Oh, we're back again.
00:01 - Yeah.
00:02 (upbeat music)
00:04 The number of boxes is becoming
00:08 a little less intimidating.
00:10 - Yeah, this is still a lot for an unboxing though.
00:12 - We had opened a Cisco networking box
00:14 a couple of episodes ago.
00:15 - If it's a Cisco switch, I can put it to use.
00:17 - That'd be great.
00:18 You guys needed this 48 port, one gig capable.
00:21 I say, let's hit the CDW box.
00:23 - That sounds like a good idea.
00:24 Could you pass me a knife, please?
00:25 - Another IT wholesaler.
00:27 Basically the entire world works in IT at this point,
00:30 us included.
00:31 - This is from the venerable Ben White.
00:33 - Ah, Ben White, one of the originals, the OGs.
00:35 This dude's been with us since like 2015.
00:38 He's been a huge fan.
00:39 Oh, he's not in Minnesota anymore.
00:41 Norristown, Pennsylvania now.
00:42 - A Lidl macaroni and cheese, L-I-D-L.
00:46 - Lidl.
00:47 - It's an Aldi branded supermarket,
00:50 but bigger than an Aldi's, I think.
00:52 Pampa, we've never done a Pampa.
00:54 I'm sure about that.
00:55 - Pampa, Pampa, Pampa.
00:57 - Bowlin' Basket, I've never seen this product.
00:59 I am familiar with the store brand.
01:01 It's a price right, shop right brand.
01:03 - So Ben must've just felt like, I'm sending them more Macs.
01:05 - Yeah.
01:06 - Like this isn't like, I'm not sending you any,
01:07 you know, like regional flair.
01:09 - No gift boxes.
01:10 - No engraved spoons.
01:11 - Macs that you have not eaten, you're gonna eat them.
01:14 We've got this.
01:16 - Oh, truffle.
01:17 - This truffle preferred selection Mac in a box.
01:20 I've never seen this before.
01:21 - I mean, he's real plugged in.
01:22 He's not sending us, like,
01:23 oh, I accidentally sent you some Wegmans.
01:25 - This looks legitimately delicious
01:27 and I would like to try this.
01:28 I love sun-dried and cheese,
01:30 toasted tomatoes and cheese.
01:31 - So what's curious about that, John,
01:33 do you remember, I think they were called
01:34 specially selected or something like that?
01:36 And guess what, they had truffle
01:38 and they had sun-dried tomatoes.
01:39 - Did they have pesto too?
01:40 - Yeah, and they had Italian flags in their logos.
01:43 They moved supermarkets?
01:44 - Yeah, or maybe you can order it
01:46 for whatever house brand you want.
01:47 And the box is the same kind of size.
01:49 - Dude, I'm like getting the truffle.
01:51 - Really?
01:52 - Yeah, I smell it from here.
01:54 - Oh my goodness.
01:55 You can get remote truffle.
01:56 Here's a Lidl Deluxe, L-I-D-L again.
01:58 - Branded particularly like Kraft.
02:00 That's really going for the,
02:01 I accidentally bought the Lidl instead of the Kraft.
02:04 - A Lidl white cheddar.
02:05 - A Lidl.
02:06 - It's the Lidl.
02:07 - We're positive it's not Lidl.
02:08 That's an I.
02:09 - I think it's Lidl, could be Lidl.
02:10 And look, here's a four cheese.
02:12 - Again, with the purple and the blue
02:14 and that particular hue of blue.
02:16 - Yeah, you're skirting the edge here.
02:18 - Copyright.
02:18 You know when a major Disney movie comes out,
02:20 like Ratatouille or something?
02:22 - That was a good movie.
02:23 Ratatouille.
02:24 - And then there'll be these knockoff DVDs
02:26 that are like, like Rat Chef.
02:27 You accidentally buy Rat Chef.
02:29 - Yes, exactly.
02:30 It's to confuse the grandmas.
02:31 - There's a grandma confusion market.
02:33 - Yeah.
02:33 - Howdy friends.
02:34 In this box, you'll find mainly Macs
02:36 that were purchased at Lidl.
02:38 Lidl is very similar to Aldi.
02:39 And I suspect that the preferred selection
02:41 are the exact same, especially selected from Aldi.
02:44 - He's got it.
02:45 Ben White's already in our brain.
02:47 - I'm more impressed by my memory in this case.
02:49 'Cause this dude at least did it intentionally.
02:51 - Yeah.
02:52 - This is why when you don't do marijuana,
02:54 (laughing)
02:55 there's also a bowl and basket and a pampa,
02:58 both of which I found in the lobby of my apartment complex.
03:01 Like just like put out.
03:03 I hope it was for sale.
03:04 I found these in the lobby.
03:06 I'm sending them to Massachusetts.
03:09 The pampa claims that it's a product of Turkey.
03:11 So that's fun.
03:12 - All right.
03:12 - Thank you for all your hard work
03:13 and dedication to your craft.
03:15 Rarely a day goes by that I do not consume
03:17 at least some RCE, your pal Ben.
03:19 And he really is our pal.
03:20 - Oh, that's lovely.
03:21 - What a good dude.
03:21 - Okay.
03:22 - All right, onto the next.
03:23 - So this one's for EJ, just straight up.
03:25 Oh my God, it's the same dude that sent us
03:27 that humongous box with all the sauces.
03:29 He sent this just to EJ.
03:30 - He's got marinade, barbecue marinade.
03:33 Dinosaur barbecue, Weber's, horseradish,
03:36 Duff's famous wings, hot sauce,
03:38 Anchor Bar hot sauce, gourmet after sauce,
03:42 char barbecue sauce, Lenovo.
03:44 It's the official hot Buffalo wing sauce.
03:46 Tavern famous wing sauce.
03:49 - Yeah, this guy has just given me all the sauces.
03:51 He can (beep) sauce this guy.
03:53 Is it really?
03:53 - It is.
03:54 - To be fair, there's also barbecue rubs.
03:56 This is the dinosaur barbecue Cajun foreplay.
03:59 I'm actually pretty excited about this.
04:01 I just ran out of my standard barbecue rub,
04:04 which is Killer Hog's, the barbecue rub.
04:07 - You didn't read the letter, EJ.
04:09 You gotta read the letter.
04:10 - Hey EJ, here's a bit more stuff.
04:12 The two Buffalo sauces are actually
04:15 the official tailgate sauces from the Buffalo Bills.
04:19 They were pretty steep in price at over $5.
04:22 Also, I completely forgot to send you Dino Cajun seasoning.
04:26 I love this.
04:28 He censored in the thing.
04:29 - S-H, asterisk, T.
04:31 - This is a family show.
04:32 I use it in a lot of chicken recipes.
04:35 So I include two Cajuns, my favorite,
04:37 and one of the base Dino barbecue seasoning.
04:40 I'm very excited.
04:41 This is the big action spice rub from Dino barbecue,
04:46 and this is the Cajun foreplay.
04:48 He did another Cajun.
04:49 This is the official Buffalo Bills sauce.
04:52 I'm assuming these are football players.
04:54 - I believe so, EJ.
04:58 We know you're not a sports guy.
05:00 I think you can identify football players.
05:02 Oh, they're from Buffalo.
05:04 - Let me get this straight.
05:06 After sending this, he thought, wait, there's more.
05:10 Wait, I forgot some things.
05:12 EJ, you've got more than a kitchen's worth
05:14 of rubs and sauces now.
05:16 - Add them to the collection.
05:18 - They're going next to the cat food.
05:19 - There they go.
05:20 I believe these next ones are from Jay from OSW Reviews.
05:25 - Okay.
05:26 - That's a big YouTube channel.
05:27 Wrestling content, primarily.
05:28 Jay has become interested in some of what we do around here.
05:32 - In the Red Cow over.
05:33 - It started with some of our podcast content,
05:36 and he said, I'm never gonna watch that food stuff, though,
05:39 that they do over there.
05:40 And then bit by bit.
05:42 And now he watches them
05:43 as he makes breakfast in the morning.
05:44 He's reached out and he said, I have some ideas.
05:46 - Okay.
05:47 - This is an Express Post box.
05:48 Is this from Canada?
05:49 - Ireland.
05:50 - Ireland?
05:51 - These guys are Irish.
05:52 - Well, good gravy.
05:53 - Oh my God.
05:54 Tato, cheese and onion.
05:56 - It's a whole case of tatoes.
05:58 - What's tatoes?
06:00 - Hi-cha, cha-cha, char.
06:02 - Hi-cha, cha-cha, char.
06:03 - The original Irish crisp.
06:05 - Can we have some?
06:06 I'm having a cookout today,
06:08 and I can put this out
06:09 and totally people can enjoy the taste of Ireland.
06:11 - Yeah.
06:12 - It's exotic cookout item,
06:12 which is just what you need at a cookout.
06:14 - Look, a book.
06:15 - My God.
06:16 - Whoa.
06:17 - W-W-E.
06:20 - E?
06:21 - You don't know that wrestling is WWE?
06:23 - Yeah, the official cookbook of WWE.
06:25 - That's awesome.
06:26 - And do they have a mac and cheese in here?
06:28 Hey, Frankie, I thought of a cool way we could collaborate.
06:30 There's an official WWE recipe for mac and cheese.
06:32 - That's exciting.
06:33 - You make it on BoxMac.
06:34 - Got it.
06:35 - The book is filled with food names as wrestler puns.
06:37 - Yeah.
06:38 - Like degeneration eggs.
06:40 - That sounds fun.
06:40 I like to make macaroni and cheeses.
06:43 - Where is it?
06:44 Bushwhacker Mac?
06:45 - Bushwhacker Mac.
06:45 - Oh, I love the Bushwhackers.
06:47 - Oh my God.
06:48 Not only is it a wrestling Mac,
06:49 but it uses chorizo.
06:51 Why lick someone's head when you can be licking clean
06:53 a plate of this cheesy, spicy chili Mac?
06:56 So they use spicy chorizo, crumbled ground beef,
06:59 onion, bell peppers, garlic, jalapeno.
07:03 - Sounds great.
07:04 - So in the meanwhile,
07:04 we were sent these beautiful crisps.
07:06 - Yeah.
07:07 - From the same fellow.
07:08 - There's enough here.
07:09 I think we can both open a bag.
07:10 - Yeah.
07:11 I think there's plenty.
07:12 So again, these are Tato cheese and onions,
07:14 the original crisp from Ireland.
07:17 - They're good.
07:19 - As is famous in the UK,
07:20 if it's cheesy,
07:21 it's going to be a lot more oniony than cheesy.
07:23 - This is like a nice onion chip,
07:25 is what this is to me.
07:26 It's like a sour cream and onion,
07:27 but with less sour cream and more cheese.
07:29 - I think what we've learned is the UK knows nothing
07:31 about cheese.
07:32 You know who would like these?
07:34 Our friend, Zach.
07:35 - He would.
07:36 - He's going to be eating these later.
07:36 I guarantee you.
07:37 - He's going to go, "I like them."
07:39 - Yeah.
07:40 That'll be his exact reaction.
07:42 - Tastes a little like sour cream and onion.
07:44 A little fainter on the onion.
07:46 I don't really get much of a cheese.
07:48 - No.
07:49 - That's exactly what I said.
07:51 - They taste a little like weak, wise onion rings.
07:55 They're nice.
07:56 - When there's a promise of cheese
07:57 and you don't get any cheese,
07:59 it's a little like...
08:00 - Onion and onion.
08:00 - Makes me eat onions.
08:02 - It's like UK Macs where, you know,
08:03 it just tastes like onion.
08:05 They're decent for a chip.
08:06 - And just one final fan item here.
08:08 It wouldn't be an unboxing
08:09 without Amy Sater sending something in
08:11 and she sent in a cool craft.
08:13 Everybody knows we love those, like,
08:15 Reese's Pieces eggs around Easter time.
08:18 And she fashioned a little purse
08:20 out of one of the bags.
08:22 On the back she says,
08:23 "Have a little Easter all year long."
08:26 This is just absolutely amazing.
08:28 - We did it.
08:29 - We did it, Reggie.
08:30 - We got to the bottom of the constipated boxes.
08:34 So on that note, by the way,
08:35 we're not banning the idea of sending boxes,
08:38 but I think that you should not send perishable things.
08:41 - We might not be able to get to your Mac
08:43 before it perishes.
08:44 Now that we don't appreciate it,
08:45 I love all the stuff.
08:46 I just don't want to have your stuff go to waste
08:48 'cause we can't get to it in time.
08:50 Thank you so much to everyone
08:51 who sent in wonderful boxes.
08:53 Bye-bye.
