Tennessee Titans rookie quarterback Will Levis has shown improvement every day during training camp, and the game seems to be slowing down a bit. He talked with AllTitans.com publisher Tom Brew after Tuesday's practice.

00:00 Is any of that you trying to,
00:03 Greg was talking about you wiring stuff in better
00:06 and working on that.
00:07 Is there any of that at play?
00:09 - Yeah, I mean, I'm just trying to make the right throws.
00:11 I'm confident that you just gotta keep working
00:16 to be more consistent.
00:18 Just trust that I have the arm and the ability
00:20 to make all the different kinds of throws I'm feeling.
00:22 - Roberson, you guys, popped up the last couple of days.
00:27 What's it doing pretty well out there?
00:30 - He's running fast.
00:31 That's first and foremost, you see him on tape.
00:34 I mean, I can't speak on the player performance
00:38 and all that, but we're proud of him
00:39 as well as all the other guys in the room.
00:42 When they're playing fast,
00:42 that's when they're playing at their best.
00:44 And we see that a lot at a regiment,
00:46 so it's really good to see.
00:47 - What's kind of your process
00:48 for taking yourself after each throw
00:50 and go back and watch the game?
00:52 You gotta take us through what it is.
00:54 - I mean, I think you just,
00:55 you don't wanna leave any stone unturned.
00:58 You just wanna communicate and talk
00:59 and with all the assistants out here,
01:01 and obviously we have our time in the meeting rooms
01:03 with Coach Kelly and Coach London,
01:04 but even the people that are able to help out on the side,
01:08 like asking as many questions as possible,
01:10 I'm gaining as much information as I can,
01:12 whether I'm gonna use that or not
01:13 the next time I go out there.
01:15 Any little piece of information you ever know
01:16 it could pop into mind the next time that play happens
01:19 and could be the difference between making a play or not.
01:21 So, just trying to be a student of the game
01:23 and get it right the next time.
01:25 Which I'm not too messed up.
01:27 - Do you find yourself--
01:28 (indistinct)
01:30 - I mean, I'm just, yeah,
01:33 I think that I got some opportunities
01:35 against some good looks.
01:36 Thanks to the rest of the players doing their job,
01:41 gave me some opportunities to show some good things,
01:45 but I mean, I just gotta keep working
01:47 and I haven't even reached the standard that we have,
01:50 so just working towards that.
01:52 - Do you find yourself learning more from a good play
01:54 or a bad play or does it matter?
01:56 - I don't think it matters,
01:57 I think you gotta take even a play
01:59 that you're not involved in,
02:00 a play where, hey, we're setting the ID
02:03 and we're learning about what the O-line is responsible for
02:07 and how they could have improved.
02:09 And even though that's not necessarily something
02:12 that I'm physically doing,
02:14 just better in my knowledge of the game
02:16 and a better understanding of the bigger picture.
02:19 All types of play is good and bad,
02:20 you gotta take as much as you can from it.
02:22 - Appreciate you, Will.
02:23 - Thanks, guys.
02:24 - Will, one more.
02:25 - Yeah.
02:27 - How you doing with the mental reps,
02:28 like when Ryan's out there?
02:30 I mean, you're trying to make a cognizant effort
02:32 of watching all that too and learning from that as well?
02:34 - Yeah, yeah, I think Graves makes the point
02:38 that all the people in front of us as reps are our reps too.
02:42 You know, you hear that at every stage of football,
02:44 but I mean, it really is true.
02:45 We're expected that if the guy in front of us
02:49 makes a mistake versus a certain look,
02:51 the guys that aren't in,
02:52 we're expected to not make that mistake again too.
02:54 It's not like we get a free pass
02:55 from him to get that look
02:56 because sure, that was Ryan's play,
02:58 but I get that rep too mentally,
03:00 so we're expected to learn everything
03:02 that you might've learned from the play.
03:03 So, really, really important part of the game.
