00:00 So that's a plus.
00:02 >> Your standpoint getting through quarters though and
00:04 kind of having a sense of how you feel like everything went?
00:06 >> I think the first half, we just had a little few details to clean up.
00:10 Second half we came out, everybody was violent, physical, went out there and
00:13 we scored some points, so that was good.
00:16 >> You had to do some things with your legs too.
00:18 What's the balance like?
00:19 You can do that, keep your arms going.
00:22 >> It helps.
00:22 It helps not only myself, but it helps the whole offense.
00:25 As we can get going, we can convert some first downs or some third downs,
00:28 some second downs, and we just keep staying in front of the sticks.
00:31 That's what we did do in the first half.
00:32 >> Great, coach Ray will have mentioned how important it is for
00:36 you to still make plays with your leg.
00:38 But how much does that help you get into that group of players?
00:42 >> It helps a lot because at first I was trying to make sure I was staying in
00:45 the pocket.
00:45 Just making sure I give everybody opportunity.
00:49 And sometimes he's telling me,
00:50 maybe me getting out of here is better than throwing the ticket.
00:52 But that's just gonna be me finding the balance between that.
00:57 >> Yeah, Graves talked about, used the word decisive, talking about your running.
01:00 Is that something you've been working on being more decisive about throw versus
01:03 run?
01:03 >> Not really.
01:06 >> First two drives, you guys went three and up.
01:09 Your drive, the offense and that really seemed to get it together.
01:13 What was the difference with that?
01:15 >> We just really communicated at halftime and
01:18 we put it in our heads that we wanted to hone the front line.
01:21 We wanted to hone the line and just go out there and be very physical and violent.
01:25 And whatever run was called, we just tried to go execute it to the best of our ability.
01:28 >> How much did you help help you to hold up to the flag?
01:31 And then tonight, I mean, how big of a win was this for you guys?
01:35 >> It was pretty cool to see a different type of defense.
01:37 They were giving us different stuff at practice than they did when we came.
01:39 So that was awesome to see just switch out like that.
01:42 And understand that once you come in the game, you see how they're trying to play
01:47 you, you get a better understanding.
01:48 You're just thinking you know what's going down based off of it.
01:52 >> On the interception, can you take us through that?
01:54 Did you kind of think like 45 was gonna drop back and Robinson?
01:57 >> Yeah, he was supposed to, he was, he was running with the vertical route.
02:02 And there was supposed to be a window there, but he made a great play.
02:05 It happens sometimes.
02:07 >> Was that something that predetermined for you to go there or did you just?
02:11 >> No, it was backwards turn.
02:13 Literally.
02:13 Like, he was supposed to come right into that window, but
02:16 he kind of throttled a little bit.
02:18 And he turned around after he seen him and it just was a bad play.
02:22 I just gotta get down to my team.
02:24 >> Malik, as much as it's been made about the offensive line here in the last year
02:26 or two, it was kind of nice to see those guys being as successful as they were.
02:30 As you guys, once you got the running game going,
02:31 I mean 281 yards is a lot even in a preseason game.
02:35 >> Yes, sir, they did a great job.
02:36 They were real focused all week trying to block however the Vikings try to play us.
02:40 And it worked out in a game.
02:42 And they came out there being physical and violent.
02:44 And they did a great job.
02:46 >> It's nice to come out there and take a few snaps before we're back.
02:49 >> Kid had a little bad pocket, going back to the top,
02:52 two birdies, playing, it was a lot of team play.
02:55 Nice to be out there.
02:56 >> He had a great time.
02:57 He was doing that a lot.
02:59 >> Yeah. >> Yeah.
02:59 >> And he was just super excited all week about us.
03:02 >> Did you get a good look at Tajay's hurdle?
03:05 >> Yeah, I did.
03:05 That was a great play.
03:06 He did a great job tonight.
03:07 He really ran the ball.
03:08 >> Okay.
03:11 >> Okay, guys, thanks for watching.
