00:00 It's hard, yeah, it's hard to get anything going.
00:04 They did a good job getting pressure in the pocket pretty much all day.
00:08 So we got a definite top.
00:10 >> You guys knew that was gonna be the case, obviously.
00:12 Was there anything that they showed you that was unexpected?
00:15 Or was it just the way that you guys were able to handle it or not handle it?
00:19 >> Yeah, we had a game plan coming in.
00:20 We tried to help where we could, but at the end of the day,
00:24 they did a good job of executing their game plan and got it to the pocket.
00:28 >> How frustrating, I guess, you built some momentum last week and
00:31 at the end of the day, probably not a lot of problems you can take from this,
00:35 I imagine.
00:36 >> Yeah, it's frustrating, obviously.
00:37 I haven't been a part of a whole lot of games here that ended like that.
00:42 Not the way we wanted to go out and play, I think, on any side of the ball.
00:47 And we gotta do better.
00:48 >> To play the end of the first half, you know Dillard's one on one there.
00:54 His ball has to be out real fast based on the protections.
00:58 What's it thinking on the play where you're trying to get two plays or
01:01 a touchdown?
01:02 >> Yeah, well, I mean, we were in a situation where the ball had to be in
01:05 the end zone or out of bounds.
01:07 So it wasn't a long developing play we had called.
01:11 We got there pretty fast and we made the play.
01:13 >> Brian, do you think this protection issue is gonna have to be corrected or
01:18 something that [INAUDIBLE] >> Yeah,
01:21 we're gonna do our best to keep working, keep improving.
01:24 Find a way to make it work.
01:26 I think that's all you can do at this point is keep working,
01:31 keep finding ways there where we can protect and get the ball off.
01:35 >> Brian, how difficult is it making it with so
01:37 many negative yardage plays though, like early in first and second down?
01:41 >> Yeah, it's brutal.
01:42 You put yourself in third and long situations, especially with a front like
01:46 that, it makes it tough.
01:49 We knew going into the game we wanted to be in third and shorter situations.
01:53 You can say that every week, but especially against a team with a front like that,
01:57 when they're able to tee off up front and
02:02 then sink a bunch of guys into coverage on third and long situations.
02:05 You're in a tough situation as an offense.
02:08 >> Yeah, good.
02:11 Thank you, Brian.
