00:00 As I progress, I'm gonna bring it to the field.
00:04 So in terms of time, yeah, it's just, I wake up and
00:07 feel like I'm risking my life.
00:10 >> What's your play, I mean, it sucks, I guess,
00:12 because you were off to a good start, kind of getting in the groove.
00:16 How much patience do you have, and are you the type that can say, hey,
00:19 I need to get right before I can come back?
00:21 >> Yeah, it's definitely frustrating.
00:23 Obviously, as a young guy, you wanna get as many live balls as you can.
00:26 And obviously, missing games like this sucks for me.
00:29 So that's definitely frustrating, you wanna be on the field as soon as possible.
00:33 But you also don't wanna be out there in a position where you can't do the right
00:36 thing for your team and perform for your team.
00:38 So it's just kind of finding that balance.
00:40 To be that frustrated, I hope to be back as soon as possible.
00:44 >> Was this your first major surgery?
00:46 >> I had an ACL repair along in like an eighth grade maybe.
00:49 But this is my first major non-muscular skeletal surgery.
00:55 >> What kind of your feelings go into it?
00:56 Was there a fear there, or were you just kind of like, let's get this over with?
00:59 >> It was just a lot of pain, I just wanted to get it out and done with.
01:01 >> [LAUGH] >> It all came quickly to you though,
01:04 what was that day like when you started feeling-
01:07 >> It wasn't very fun.
01:08 >> Yeah. >> It was a two day thing.
01:11 And eventually we figured it out and got it out, but yeah, glad it's over with.
01:16 >> Did you have a good idea of what it was when it started to happen?
01:18 >> I didn't, no, I didn't, I didn't realize until, so
01:22 it was almost too late, but we caught it in time, which was good, so.
01:25 >> Thanks, Peter.
01:26 >> [INAUDIBLE]
01:36 >> Yeah, once I got to the hospital and everything,
01:44 they did a great job of helping me out.
01:46 >> It was an emergency accident, how you would describe it.
01:53 >> Yes, I needed you to help me out.
01:54 >> Yeah, yeah, I appreciate it.
01:57 >> Thanks, Peter.
01:58 >> I understand, you've seen the heat, it's gotten better,
02:00 healthier, conditioned better and so forth.
02:03 >> Yeah, just kinda working through that day by day,
02:05 and sorta gradually increasing what I can do to try to get back to where I was.
02:08 But it's just sorta day by day thing, kinda building up to it.
02:13 >> I would imagine it would be tough to come back this week, but even in October.
02:18 >> I think in terms of timetable or which game we'd be back,
02:21 I haven't really thought about that.
02:22 It's just sort of like, how can I progress from Tuesday to Wednesday,
02:26 Wednesday to Thursday?
02:28 That's sort of my mindset right now.
02:30 >> Did you lose weight?
02:30 >> I did.
02:33 >> How much?
02:34 >> I don't know exactly, but- >> 10, 12?
02:36 >> I just gotta get my diet right and get it all back.
02:40 >> Yeah, thanks, man.
