00:00 We gotta be better on cadence and stuff.
00:01 Three times we were giving up cheap penalties and
00:04 just getting us into crappy situations.
00:06 At the end of the day, with a game like that, we just gotta be prepared as a group.
00:10 >> You know what their pass rush can bring and
00:12 you guys kind of prepared for it all week.
00:13 Why were they still able to be effective with it?
00:15 >> Like I said, shitty situations.
00:18 I mean, when we put ourselves in third and ten, second and ten,
00:21 putting ourselves in third and, I don't know, do we have a third and 25 or
00:25 something or more maybe?
00:26 Yeah, when you get in situations like that, that pass rush is gonna be,
00:29 they're gonna be effective.
00:30 That's exactly what they want.
00:32 I mean, they're just licking their chops and
00:33 we let them have that opportunity.
00:36 >> Obviously, how much of it was them and how much of it was the offense?
00:44 >> I mean, you gotta give them credit.
00:45 I mean, they freaking play hard.
00:46 They're an NFL team.
00:47 They came here prepared and they played a great game.
00:51 So gotta give them credit.
00:52 At the same time, we just gotta be better.
00:53 We gotta be better with opportunities.
00:56 We cannot shoot ourselves in the foot.
00:57 And then when we see those pressure looks, when they bring something different,
01:01 we gotta be able to respond, be able to see it, and
01:03 at least get the ball going forward, get something out of it, and then come back.
01:08 And then go to the next play and find a way to beat it.
01:10 And I just think even if we never did that today,
01:12 we never were able to get in a rhythm.
01:14 I mean, we did plenty of three and outs.
01:16 So it's one of those games, it's just gonna be all better.
01:19 I think it's more on us, but you gotta give the Browns credit.
01:24 I mean, they are a good team.
01:26 They came here prepared.
01:27 They did an excellent job.
01:28 And so give them credit, nothing against them.
01:31 We also gotta be better.
01:33 >> Loss in performance like this,
01:34 you just throw it out and try to regroup for next week.
01:37 How do you deal with that?
01:38 >> I mean, any loss you gotta throw it out.
01:39 At the end of the day, you can't go back and change it.
01:42 We got a lot of football left.
01:43 We're still in it.
01:45 So yeah, you gotta throw that out.
01:46 And it's on to the next week.
01:47 I mean, we got the Bengals coming to town.
01:48 We got a lot to improve on.
01:50 So we gotta just go out there, put our head down.
01:52 We're gonna watch the film, see what we need to fix.
01:55 Find a way to fix it next week, and then go out there, and
01:58 we gotta prepare for the Bengals.
01:59 >> How much of this is a one-day thing?
02:01 >> Yes, thank you.
02:01 >> Just a lot of guys' work used to come together until the season ended.
02:06 We got to go all the way.
02:08 Sounds like an excuse, but do you feel like- >> It's week three.
02:10 There's no excuses.
02:11 It's week three.
02:12 There's no more excuses.
02:13 I mean, week one, you can maybe say we got a little bit on the road.
02:16 But week three, no.
02:17 We gotta be better.
02:18 We gotta come together.
02:19 We gotta find a way to make sure we get all on the same page, and
02:22 we go out there and execute.
02:23 >> Daniel, are there any- >> Is this the one you moved?
02:25 >> Away from quicker?
02:26 Do you need to pay more attention and learn lessons maybe from it?
02:30 >> Yeah, I mean, I told the other guys before you guys stepped up that any loss,
02:35 you gotta move on.
02:35 I mean, it's a long season ahead.
02:38 We got a lot of ball left.
02:39 We're still in it.
02:40 There's nothing to say that we can't be in it.
02:43 And we just gotta move on.
02:44 We're gonna go watch the film, correct what we need to fix.
02:47 And then as soon as we get that done, we're going on to the Bengals, and
02:50 then that's what we gotta focus on.
02:51 >> As far as from a protection standpoint,
02:53 can you fall behind when they're coming at you on how tough of a situation that
02:57 can offer the line and the concerning gaps, like you should have done better even?
03:01 >> Yeah, I mean, if you give them third and longs,
03:05 you give them every bit to just gear up and get after it.
03:09 I mean, it's tough, so we gotta do a better job of getting out of those
03:12 situations, be in the third and manageable, get to second and manageable.
03:16 And then be able to get plays going forward and not backwards.
03:20 We had way too many plays to bring us back.
03:22 And get us into those really tough situations.
03:24 And when you're in those, it's real tough.
03:27 I mean, you gotta find a way to get it done.
03:29 But you're just shooting yourselves.
03:30 >> Daniel, with the running game, is there any one or two things you can kind of
03:35 pinpoint as to what just needs to get fixed and get better?
03:38 >> Just communication, execution.
03:42 It's just, they were able to bring some pressures.
03:46 They give us, I know I got beat on one where the guy rechecking me moved right now.
03:51 I gotta do a better job keeping my eyes up and just keeping my footing.
03:55 Because you catch them in those stunts, you can really do something.
03:59 So I just gotta be better there.
04:01 But they did a good job finding ways to get us into bad looks or
04:06 something and then attack us.
04:08 And then we gotta do a better job executing.
04:10 Because if we, I mean, no matter what play is called,
04:13 you can still make something out of it.
04:15 And I think we did a bad job of that.
04:16 We were letting them get after it.
04:18 And we gotta just find a way to get three yards.
04:21 Get three yards, we can move on to the next play and keep going.
04:24 But keep getting TFLs and stuff, it's hard to play like that.
04:29 So we're behind the chains all the time.
04:31 So I think we just gotta do a better job executing.
04:33 Better job recognizing some things maybe.
04:37 And then a few times they're gonna get you.
