00:00 Hopefully it's not embarrassing, but I'll try to get in the way.
00:04 >> Was there more play action today, Ryan, or
00:06 was it just more successful today than it had been previously?
00:09 >> Well, I think we ran a lot more plays today than we did last weekend.
00:14 That's, like I said, it all builds off each other.
00:17 So when you're able to sustain drives, get more shots on goal,
00:21 complement formations and what we're doing, then you get into the playbook a little
00:26 deeper. >> The pitches to Derrick seemed like
00:28 they were tighter and faster.
00:30 Is that a different brand of pitch than you've been using?
00:33 >> The pitches?
00:34 >> The pitch plays to Derrick seemed like they were faster developing plays
00:40 than a lot of the runs where you pitch it wider most of the time.
00:44 >> Right. >> Were you approaching that
00:45 differently?
00:46 Were they different play?
00:47 >> Not specifically.
00:50 I don't know.
00:51 It's not like the toss-crack play that you traditionally pitch.
00:54 But yeah, we worked in a few tosses, some same-side tosses today,
00:58 able to stretch the field laterally a little bit there to complement
01:02 the downward stuff.
01:03 >> You mentioned the guys up front fighting for the noise this week.
01:05 Ryan, what was the talk in the building this week in terms of those guys to each
01:09 other, you guys to them, just the conversation about improving the protection
01:12 this week? >> Yeah, go out, believe in each other,
01:14 play fast.
01:14 We can't go out there thinking, can't go out there hesitating in any aspect.
01:20 You gotta be able to play fast, play physical.
01:22 Whatever you do, do it with 100% effort.
01:25 And if you do that, you play together as a unit up front,
01:28 then you're most likely gonna like the results.
01:30 >> Ryan, it's been a tale of two offenses from your road games to here back at home.
01:35 With a big divisional game against the Colts coming up next week,
01:38 what can y'all do from a performance like this to carry over on the road next week?
01:42 >> Yeah, gotta build on it.
01:44 Did some things well today, wanna build on those things.
01:46 Keep expanding how we're attacking defenses and
01:51 just keep improving on things we didn't do well.
01:52 It's not a perfect game, never will be.
01:54 But there's things we can get better from, we'll learn from this tape.
01:58 And I wanna build on the good things and go into next week with a full head of steam.
02:01 Obviously a big division game on the road, it means a lot.
02:05 >> Is it you wondering which team is the tight joint now?
02:09 You've had two games that haven't gone very well, two games that have.
02:13 >> I'm not wondering anything.
02:14 I believe in that locker room, I believe in the guys.
02:16 I believe in what we have and what we're building.
02:18 So proud of the way we came to work throughout this week, prepared ourselves.
02:22 and look forward to doing the same thing next week.
02:24 That's good.
