Tennessee Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill discusses the loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Even though the offense did a lot of good things, they still struggled in the red zone and had just one touchdown in four trips in the 23-16 loss.

00:00 out of the under today and look like a lot of good protection up front.
00:03 How much is that extra half second and second to find him in open space matter?
00:07 >> It's huge, that extra half second makes all the difference.
00:09 A few plays where he had to move a little bit to get himself open.
00:14 Had some play action plays where he's able to get behind the defense.
00:17 So if we're able to have that extra half second, then feel really confident,
00:22 we'll find a good place to go in football and make a play.
00:24 >> It's such a week to week league, Ryan.
00:26 What's the challenge of trying to find some sort of consistency when you guys
00:29 are here and then here?
00:30 >> Yeah, just going out and executing and putting a full game together.
00:35 I feel like we moved the ball.
00:36 We did a lot of good things offensively throughout the game.
00:38 But we gotta finish with sevens and not threes when we get down to the red zone.
00:41 And we gotta come away with points every time we're down there.
00:43 So a lot of good things we can build on, but
00:48 obviously have to be more efficient in the red zone.
00:49 >> Ryan, is there any more frustrating the red zone issues,
00:52 considering basically since you've been here,
00:54 you've been one of the best red zone teams in the league.
00:56 Kind of a missing thing this year?
00:59 >> Yeah, I don't think it's been a thing all year or anything.
01:01 I'd have to take a look at the numbers.
01:03 But I feel like we've been pretty efficient down there.
01:06 Got touchdowns when we got down there a good amount of time.
01:09 But today, that wasn't the case.
01:11 >> Five games in, Ryan, alternate kind of win, go losses, and
01:15 start a season, how important is finding consistency?
01:18 How frustrating is it you haven't been able to do that so far?
01:21 >> Yeah, it's extremely frustrating.
01:22 You gotta start stacking some wins.
01:24 You can't go one for one throughout the season and get to where you wanna go.
01:28 So this team has to respond.
01:31 We have to come in.
01:33 Tough week this week, going to London on the road, new environment,
01:37 new situation, but it doesn't matter.
01:38 We're gonna have to find a way to get a win this week and
01:42 then hopefully start stacking some after that.
01:44 >> Randy, you feel like you guys played well enough for
01:45 a lot of this game to win this game today, though?
01:47 Did you feel like this one kind of slipped away?
01:49 >> We didn't play well enough to win the game.
01:52 Obviously, we did some good things.
01:54 We moved the ball, but if you don't score more points than the other team,
01:57 then you didn't play well enough to win.
01:58 So we gotta find a way to do that next week.
02:00 >> Let's talk about how you were able to use Hopkins today.
02:04 I mean, it seems like more and more each week, his role keeps increasing.
02:07 He keeps producing in big moments.
02:09 What has he meant for this offense to happen?
02:11 >> Yeah, he's been huge.
02:12 He came up big today, made some big plays for us.
02:15 Throughout the game, has a good feel for what we're trying to do and
02:19 get himself open.
02:20 Was able to use his savviness a couple times on finding some open space and
02:24 taking advantage of it.
02:25 Maybe it wasn't exactly drawn off that way.
02:27 So doing a lot of good things.
02:30 Just have to keep building with him and get the other guys involved as well.
