00:21 and it tastes amazing, especially when it's served with tomato chutney and coconut chutney.

00:32 dip Punugulu in tomato chutney and eat it, you definitely feel like you're drooling.
00:38 And I'm drooling and I love the combination of tomato chutney with Punugulu.
00:44 And today's recipe is a very very simple recipe which is tomato chutney.

01:00 Now let's make today's recipe.
01:02 For tomato chutney, we have taken 6 tomatoes which we have cut into small pieces.
01:08 8 to 10 garlic cloves, salt as per taste, 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, lemon sized tamarind
01:19 or tamarind, 1/4 cup coriander, 5 to 6 green chillies which we have cut into small pieces.
01:29 For chutney, we will make tadka.
01:33 For that, we have taken 8 to 10 curry leaves, 1 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1 teaspoon urad
01:43 dal, 3 to 4 dry red chillies.
01:46 So let's make tomato chutney.
01:49 We have turned on the gas.
01:52 In a pan, we will add 1 tablespoon oil.
01:59 The oil is hot.
02:00 Now we will add 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, green chillies, tomatoes.
02:21 We have fried the tomatoes for 5 minutes in medium flame.
02:30 Now we will add garlic.
02:44 After frying for 2 minutes, we will add tamarind, salt.
02:57 Mix it.
03:04 Turn off the gas and let it cool.
03:11 Our tomato mixture has cooled down completely.
03:16 We will put it in a mixer jar and grind it to a fine paste.
03:22 Before grinding, we will add this coriander.
03:30 Mix it.
03:36 Before grinding, we will add half cup water.
03:43 And grind it to a smooth paste.
03:47 We have grinded the tomato and other mixture to a smooth paste.
03:52 Our chutney is ready.
03:56 Now we will make a tadka in it.
03:58 We have turned on the gas.
04:00 In a pan, we will add 1 tablespoon oil.
04:05 The oil is hot.
04:07 Now we will add 1 teaspoon mustard seeds.
04:10 After the mustard seeds crackle, we will add 1 teaspoon urad dal.
04:17 Turn off the gas.
04:19 Now we will add curry leaves.
04:22 8 to 10.
04:30 4 dry red chillies.
04:49 We will add this tadka to the chutney.
05:00 Mix it.
05:06 Our tomato chutney is ready.
05:08 This chutney is very tasty with any south Indian recipe like idli, dosa, uttapam and even punugulu.
