00:08Today's recipe is Carrot Raita.
00:10So guys, carrot as you all know, it's a great source of Vitamin A and it's very very good for your eyesight.
00:18So it can be made with leftover carrots.
00:23And curd or raita is very good for health.
00:28And especially during summers, you should eat raita and curd.
00:32Because it balances out your body because of the heat that is there outside.
00:38So carrot raita is something which is a very interesting recipe.
00:41Which you can make with leftover carrots and you can serve it with parathas or pulao.
00:46And it's very very very easy to make.

01:24We have peeled both the carrots.
01:27Now we will wash them.
01:30We have washed both the carrots.
01:34Now we will grate them.
01:45We have grated both the carrots.
01:49We are making curd carrot raita.
01:51We have taken 1 cup of curd.
01:55We will add half a cup of water to it.
01:57And we will whisk it properly.
02:10We will whisk it with a whisker.
02:17Now we will add some spices to it.
02:19Half teaspoon black salt.
02:22Half teaspoon white salt.
02:24Normal salt.
02:26Half teaspoon roasted jeera powder.
02:29Half teaspoon turmeric powder.
02:34Half teaspoon red chilli powder.
02:37Half teaspoon chaat masala.
02:40We will mix it.
02:42We will whisk it properly.
02:47Three green chillies, finely chopped.
02:51One fourth cup coriander, finely chopped.
02:55Grated carrot.
03:06We will mix it.
03:13We have mixed the carrot properly.
03:18Now we will make a tempering for it.
03:22To make the tempering, we will put 1 tablespoon oil in the pan.
03:30The oil is hot.
03:31We will turn off the gas.
03:36Half teaspoon mustard.
03:39Half teaspoon cumin seeds.
03:43One fourth teaspoon asafoetida.
03:47Two dry red chillies.
03:51One green chilli, long slit.
03:56Eight to ten curry leaves.
04:08Our tempering is ready.
04:11Now we will add it to the carrot raita.
04:19We will mix it.
04:25Our tempered carrot raita is ready.
04:28It goes very well with roti, naan and parathas.
